If they detect you are flying an Outcast ship with Outcast weaponary then people will think you are an outcast.
I agree about the Oracles though
I'm not speaking about the faction. I'm speaking about the tag... Read my other post for pictures.
Also, we use this tag because we have permission.
And the problem is that we rarely encounter Roleplayers. Mostly are metagamers that use leet speech.
If the Oracles don't like getting metagamed then don't wear a tag. Just have your char or ship name and no one will know who or what you are without RP'ing.
No, your point just doesn't seem quite valid. Does it not make sense for everyone to identify themselves if they have any pride, or if they broadcast their role? Besides, if I may use another example that pertains to the Oracles, your ties become quite clear when you make a preaching session or accompany someone doing so in public space. At the risk of repeating myself, my own opinion is that if you add the tag, your character is broadcasting it along with their callsign, ID and such.
THEY TOLD ME I COULD BE ANYTHING SO I BECAME A SIGNATURE PLS HLP
Two things. One, this is hardly derailed. You asked something, people answered. Secondly, could you tell me why it doesn't make sense for someone's specific allegiance be broadcasted? Especially with non-canon factions such as the Oracles.
