Quote:Why would they be OoRP? They're spefically made for the Red Hessians.
Yes but you did not bathe in holy water specially prepared by the Hessian council, mixed in with a tear from one admin, and the blood from another. That's how you buy something now adays.
Try an alternative approach: Have a smidgeon of RP behind the purchase of your ship. For example it being your faction's ship, or having a good explanation for acquiring that ship. "They allies I buy ship" does not always cut it, especially when they are, in fact, not allies anymore.
I'm interested in , how exactly is the connection between the Outcasts and the Red Hessians going to be severed ? Is it going to be RP , or is it going to be something which just happened and everyone will pretend that there was never an alliance ?
its not that they are going to start blasting the hell out of each other, but that the hessians and outcasts no longer need each other, and dont want their ships to get captured while in the hands of the other faction. also, the whole OC allience is to big, so its getting cut down to size.

You do know that there are other factions who are connected to the alliance ? Bundschuh didn't shoot Outcasts openly in our space , because of that alliance. We plan on changing that , that is why I was interested.

I'm Outcast Don Emilio Santini, and I say Border Worlds Isn't Outcast, Dammit!
Quote:Then why to use the BW series?
Even you're allowed to use it, doesn't mean you have to.
At least not now, when you have your own shipline.
And corporate escorts are allowed to use Eagles, but they don't have to. After all, the NPCs use Startrackers. Point?
Quote:I don't see any other, except PvP reasons, in using the BW series when you already have your own shipline.
I always thought the RHA would be a faction of strict roleplayers, but I guess you aren't.
You could choose between the RH and BW shipline, but you prefer BW shipline more.
What does this tell? You're care more about PvP than RP.
I always thought that if a faction had a history of using a ship - in this case, the Hessians have been using Border Worlds since Vanilla - that there was a logical RP reason for many pilots in that faction to still use the ship. I'm also a proponent of factions using commercially-available ships such as Eagles and Sabres where RP appropriate, as it is here.
You refuse to accept this reasoning, and instead resort to thinly-veiled low-grade insults.
What does this tell me? That you're too stubborn for debate with you to be remotely fruitful, meaning therefore that I just wasted a minute and a half on this post.
I used to have a Loki on my Outcast, the RHA may remember that I requested it. They agreed to this request, no objections at all. What changed between then and now? Not much - it's simply that cruisers are a hell of a lot more of an expenditure in materials and manpower for a faction to make, even for one of their allies. (there's also the fact that the Outcast Alliance is too damn big, but whatever.) No matter how appropriate it would be for Ayumu, I wouldn't expect to be able to get a Lane Hacker Cruiser (if one existed). Were it not for the fact that there wasn't an Outcast Gunship at the time, I wouldn't have been surprised if they refused my Gunship request. Capital ships are expensive. In money, in materials, in production time and therefore manpower, and if you're pouring the resources into a cruiser for an ally, you better damn well be getting something in exchange to make it a worthwhile deal.
