I just read in a recent thread that gallic trade ships can leave gallia, but that is it. Also, make sure you have the RP for this if you are thinking about doing it.
What Taz just said is hat I've also encountered. It's buried in here somewhere and I don't have time to do a search for it at the moment, but Gallic trading ships can come out. And trust me - that was very odd the first time I saw a Gallic train in Rheinland, I was going, wait what? And then the poor dear must've thought I was going to harvest him or something...

Gallic traders are allowed, but the fighters aren't, so if you use escorts, you should meet with them outside of Gallia, or let them come over. I encountered a gallic fighter in NY (with a navy id, but anyway) a couple of days ago, my Xeno was able to satisfy his bloodlust, to say the least, pity it was such a poor Rp'er, might have had some fun that way as well:dry:

I don't know about the stolen bomber, as the "i stolz it" story usually doesn't fly around here. I can't see why a Gallic Freelancer wouldn't take his fighter out of Gallia, exploring the new opportunities the Sirius Sector would offer her/him.
If you do that, though, I'd suggest doing it in one of the Gallic <strike>Shovels</strike> Civilian fighters, rather than anything faction based, and still be prepared for some questions. Those questions could make for an interesting RP hook, though, so don't take that as discouragement!
