So I've recently had some trouble connecting to any Discovery server on my Vista SP1 machine. To remove all question of networking issues, I connected quite successfully to the server on my XP laptop just five minutes ago. So, as a plea for help plus a public service, I am starting this thread. The purpose? List every possible fix for Vista connection problems.
I'll get the list started.
1. Make sure to run freelancer.exe in administrator mode

What anti-virus program are you using?
Read the tutorial in the post above yours and follow all the steps.
