Switch faction

I did a new character and wanted to join the bounty hunters guild. I went to Omega-15 and bribed the bounty hunters and they were the only friendly faction for me. After that i did missions for them so i could get better reputation and buy a bounty hunters ID. I Got a bounty hunders ID but in some way im a member of the gateway shipping.

How do i switch to the bounty hunters guild now?

if the BHG is the second highest rep faction in your reputation sheet, just use the /droprep command. and then you should have the BHG as your top faction the next time you log in.

kill one of each NPC from the factions in front of the faction you want, then when it gets to second place, droprep.


and it only costs 250 i believe.

not necessarily, you can kill some NPC that will affect the whole group of NPC's you fully friendly with and you will have to drop less rep's

Thanks for the tip, shooting one little DSE storage depot seems to have solved my problems:)

/droprep command works well and if your short on cash, PM any1 of my characters and i will be more then willing to spare some creds

also since your doing missions, if your BHG rep isnt #1 yet, you could always equip the recruit id, as long as you are with in constraints...

at the beginning of .85 in beta, i flew a starflea from PA, to Order space,(nuts i know) and got a recruit tag until i had fixed my rep.

Also if you are just blasting random enemies of the said faction, it can be easier, yet often leads to a messeed up IFF
