If you bought it on Steam, try contacting their customer service. Maybe they will refund you. Happened before, might happen again.

So another open beta is up today. Goes to the 20th. So we can play for three days. I guess they do an open beta every few days for a couple of days, doing certain parts of the game to narrow down on bugs?

Played for a few hours today.
The game is GORGEOUS. It uses a modified version of the Crytek Engine. Of course, it's your standard MMO game.. Collect this, kill that, etc.. I'm only level 4, though. I'm excited to hit level 10, 'cause thats when you get your wings.

Nice. Just tried it. It actually utilitizes my three way SLI instead of WoW which runs better without my cards running in SLI. Graphics are awesome, character creation screen is damn near flawless.

Very impressive so far.

EDIT: Got to level 13, still going. Enjoying the game. Pretty good graphics and decent game play. Love the attack system with stringing multiple attacks together. Very interesting.

* Closed Beta Event #6 August 14-August 17 Focus: TBD

Apparently an open-beta is happening after the final closed beta until release. But I can't find anything to confirm that besides people shouting on the Aion Beta Forums.
I just got my wings last night, and while you can't fly in every location, you can "glide", and once you master gliding you can cover a lot of ground... Until your flight timer runs out anyways. Unfortunately I didn't have enough free time to hit level 25 so I could test out the PvP.

yea, NCsoft enjoys doing short betas, nothing new there. I've beta tested a lot of games

keep me in touch with that one:PI might buy it once its out.
