I do wish people would stop throwing EVERY pirate on Disco into one category. I fly a pirate in a GB and he's NOTHING like what you guys are describing. People wonder why I generalize lawfuls ... its because traders and lawfuls continually generalizing us ... and they continually make anti-pirate threads. Just take your snapshots and file a violation report. But PLEASE quit taking these things to the forums that just get people all riled up. Everybody's jumping on the bandwagon and badmouthing pirates. I've got a freaking pirate and he's nothing like what you guys are describing. Please do not lump us all into the same category. If you see me in an anti-pirate thread (like this one) ... then yes ... you'll see me disagreeing with a lot of people. And the vast majority of my posts are in these anti-pirate threads DEFENDING pirates role play.

I just thinking it's funny that a month ago we had threads coming out our ears with people complaining about how the GB had been nerfed to uselessness, and how they couldn't work any more, then today we have this thread complaining about the numbers:P

@Baltar: There does seem to be a general consensus/agreement on the whole 'Rargh! Pirate GB spam bad!" thing, but between everyone except you.

Train a bit, then bomberwhore them. Yes, there are too much lolOCGBs, but what can we do? Allow factions to restrict what ships people are using? That might help, but then we will get over 9000 people complaining about it because they think factions are evil power-hungry dictatorships bent on ruining the fun for every indie out there.

Really, GBs tend to be extremely vulnerable to bombers, especially if the bomber jock knows what he's doing and has a buddy to back him up. Two bombers are the scariest thing a GB pilot can imagine.
