But anyway. They are independant MINERS arn't they? Should they really have the best bomber ever?
CR is using them too, and they are not miners.
They shouldnt have the best bomber ever, but surely not the worst.

However, the Falcata has more armor than Pytho, while its supposed to be "light". The Pytho is now a heavy bomber with light bomber armor.
Please, for the love of God people check your facts. The Pytho and Falcata both have a light bomber powerplant. 38k. The exact same power plant. They are both Light Bombers, and believe it or not many Light Bombers are actually bigger than their heavy counter-parts, it's a part of their balance.
IMG and CR split into two groups over a dispute. The CR was originally the guard for IMG shipping in the tau sectors (If this is wrong forgive me.) So we actually use the combat vessels a hell of a lot. A lot more than the civilian models available to the IMG.
Let me tell you why i like the pytho. The SNAC and razor slots are on the main hull meaning they fire from the center that makes it easier to aim. So from the use of the Razor and the SNAC point of view it is a very good bomber.
Where it tends to fall down slightly is in its evasive capabilities. But that can be solved by getting better at flying your ship. I am happy that the IMG/CR just has a bomber now as i remember when the CR used to struggle against the Battleships with only the viper II. This is why i dont complain as having a underpowered bomber according to some people in this thread, is better than having none at all. I actually like it as it makes it a rather specialised ship. Meaning that we need both Nyx and Pythos to operate effectively.
