about 15 min ago me and a band of outcasts laid siege to manhatten, and won...ofcourse until the battleship came and we all ran, but it was glorius!:yahoo:

... Despite this, my most memorable moment was participating on a four ship raid. Lane Hacker Gunship, Pirate Transport, Rogue Gunboat, and Stiletto. I was the fighter. It went rather messily, but I was the only survivor... there were four or five merc bombers right there, y'see...

Having a Nomad Power Cell stolen from me in the Kansas system by Exile, Nathrael and an indie Liberty Navy officer when it turns out that they were Spectres in league with the Nomads and had no interest in parting with 35 million credits for it. Best, and most interesting RP I've ever had.

There are a lot, really, but the one I remember the most for some reason is one particular rambo-style raid on Omicron Alpha with my trusty old Viper Mark II.
That day, with my 4 hammerfalls and two tizonas, and my even trustier nuclear mine and razor, I took on about 8 different ships.
Most of them were Sabres, there was one Scimitar, and perhaps one Falcata, though I don't believe any one was.
And one by one, I took them all out somehow, either by razor, guns, or nuclear mines, which were devastating back then, especially with the vanilla vulnerability thing.
I was alone, and they swarmed me, so they had to eat a few. Whoever jousted me got what was coming to him.:P

It was the most I had ever taken on succesfully, and I don't believe it will happen again.

And also note, they weren't some random guys, there were a couple of 101st, a RoS or two, and some pretty good fighters.

One big one that I find particularly memorable, the AFA's first big encounter. Kinda put us on the map when a we took on the Nova PG in Sigma 13, this was when Tony ran the Nova and they had that Dragon BS the Kana as their flag. The upstart AFA, along with help from the Corsairs got into it with a Nova fleet with the Kana, and after a huge brawl, the Kana was destroyed, and the Novas pushed back.

I'd say the Anniversary event with the RoS was one of my favorite instances. More or less it was just bragging rights, since we branched off into three different systems and fought simultaneously, all outnumbered, all victorious.

I have 2 things..

Set a trap for the Liberty Navy. Had a couple of gunboats turn around a transport at the Cali > NY Jumpgate, to report that there was a few Lane Hacker gunboats causing trouble. So, cue 5 minutes later, 2 LNS-Lolcaps, flying Assault Carriers. Once they came, my gunboats flew like drunk morons, while lil' ol' me, Sitting 25K up in my Spyglass does the old "Mr. LaBrie, bring us about, power up weapons and shields and fire on my mark!"

Killed both Assault Carriers:)


Another was when I was taking my Tridente several months ago (I miss that thing..) through Rheinland back to Liberty. That was a mistake.. Started getting shot at by a few gunboats and bombers, I ran away. Made it through to Hamburg, when a Cruiser undocked with a wing of Wraith/Snubnoses.. then of course the guys chasing me and my escort from New Berlin came.

That was funny :laugh:
