Boy wakes up and sees all the cash right next to him and is shocked and confused. So he picked up the money, went to the bartender and ordered 37 more shots of liquid cardi but happened to collapse when he ordered it.
Kharashrak entered the pub with a slight wobble to his walk the drink already making him tipsy, it was only his fourteenth keg of Liberty Ale... maybe they were making the crap stronger than they used to?
He noticed about 50 escaped Liberty Police trying to storm the bar. "Oy, you lot, sod off or order a bloody drink don't waste my frakking time by getting between me and the bar." Kharashrak said his voice like Crushed gravel.
"What did you say." The nearest a Rookie said turning his weapon at Kharashrak.
Kharashrak slapped the weapon out of the boys hands, he can't have been any older than eighteen. "Don't point a weapon at someone you don't intend to kill." Kharashrak said as he drew his own Class IX DeLameter pistol. "Like this."
A shot rang out the particle bolt from the pistol exploding the young rookies head. The nearest two LPI also copped it as shots from the DeLameter exploded their heads. Kharashrak looked at the dead rookies head... well where it should have been. "See son, you do it like that,"
A pair of laser bolts rang of the bulkhead above Kharashraks position. "See these boys know what i'm talking about, too bad they're so lousy at their jobs."
Flicking a switch on the DeLameter he opened fire on the LPI a dozen crimson bolts of particle energy exploding whatever part of the escaped LPI they happened to hit. In under five minutes fifteen of the escapees were dead.
Then it turned into a real firefight and Kharashrak decided to seek some cover.
In the darkening lights of Sirius space even the dead need a voice, even the dead need respect. And more importantly, the dead need to be taken home: Undertaker, Steward of the ++Tombship++

Rommie entered the bar with her new entourage of mercenaries. Her ship was unloading a full shipment of cardamine so they would be here for a while yet.
She had been away from Liberty for months after trying to find herself deep in the edge worlds.
Well this place has certainly livened up a bit She thought. Rommie was looking at all the commotion around the place... She proceeded to the bar area and ordered a full round for her "Body guards"
Rommie went and sat down alone while her hired guns were watching make sure she is safe, after all that's what she paid them for. She could easily handle herself but now she had money, she'd rather pay someone else to do it.....
Eyes started to wander around the bar. There was talk of a slaver among them. Some thought the slaver was the new guy/girl with all the body guards. Some thought the 37 shot guy was the slaver.
One of the liberty rogues started whispering to another about "Loads of cash"
The rogues had herd this gunboat dock in buffalo and decided to confront the man. Two of them walked to the guy and asked him if they could have a share.
