Greetings,
Well, tonight's patrol was certainly not boring. I started off from New London. I launched to space and immediately met a Corsair! Fortunately not a shot was fired, the Corsair left peacefully. I'm not sure why. Then I flew to Planet Leeds to pick up the newly recomissioned Spaulder. Thanks to the change in regulations the Spaulder is once again a Percheron, the finest Bretonian Transport.
While I was shaking down the new Spaulder, and Lane Hacker threatened a member of the IND. However, he didn't seem to want to face the Spaulder...Or perhaps it was the Derby that held him off...Either way, he too departed peacefully.
I flew back to New London where I met some Daumann pilots. I scanned their holds, and they were clear so I wished them safe flight. Next I received a report of a crowd in the Manchester system, so I jumped through. I was met at the Manchester side of the gate by a large convoy of ships, all carrying military vehicles. I inquired as to their destination, and they didn't reply, merely jumped through to New London. I followed and inquired again. Eventually they admitted to going to Languedoc, or something like that. Now, I have no idea where that might be, but it's not in Kusari, so I further inquired as to whether they planned to go through Tau space to get there. They took a while in responding, but finally responded that no, it didn't go through Tau space. I let them go as I had no evidence they were breaking any laws as of yet. I did warn them that I better not get reports of them in Kusari or the Taus.
At that point my comms lit up with chatter from other BPA ships. One was at Planet Leeds, so I headed off to the Trade Lane to head to Leeds. About half-way down a battle was taking place. I jumped out of the lane. There was a Molly and the convoy I mentioned above. I ordered the Molly to cease fire and clear off. He claimed self-defence. I responded "Fine, you guys cease fire and clear off too then." (Clearly talking to the convoy ships.) Well, none of them listened.
The Molly was flying a Barghest bomber. Ouch. After one of the transports was destroyed, I could no longer sit still in space. I warned the Molly and entered the fray, attempting to have the officer at Leeds join me. It was a long pitched battle. The lack of agility of the Spaulder and the Barghest really showed. He managed to drop my shields multiple times, but they recovered without help mostly. Sadly, I discovered that the techs had made a mistake and not fully stocked my ship with Nanobots and Shield Batteries. I shouldn't blame the techs, on second thought. The pre-flight checklist is the captain's job, and I failed to check the reserves. My only defence is that the Lane Hacker interrupted me in the middle and I rushed the checklist. With a full complement of Nanobots and Shield Batteries, the fight may have gone differently.
As it was, the Spaulder was damaged such that it no longer functioned. The guncams were also not functioning, I regret, and I have no footage. Luckily, the escape system was functional and I and my crew were able to escape with minor injures, where we were picked up by a passing Bowex transport that managed to escape to Planet Leeds. I am told that the repairs on the Spaulder may take several days, if it can be recovered at all.

Good evening everyone,
It seems a poor show tonight. Haberdashers all abound. I got on to see the Spaulder and Constable Twist in his Paladin. Constable Davis said he was doing alright with a convoy, and so I went to Cambridge. I met there two men, both Freelancers, who seemed to be quite the patriots. One in a Cavalier and one in a Crusader. Lucky for them they were flying such well made ships, as a haberdasher, Antiquity was nearby in an Eagle.
This Antiquity was looking for a fight, it seems. He was quite offensive when he spoke, though he didn't really speak much. Soon enough, though, a Dunkirk patrol came by and he was quite hurt. He then took to attacking the police pilots in the area. Well, sod to that, I informed him of the fine involved, he refused to pay, and such is the result"
Then I got word that constable Twist and the Spaulder were attacked. I rushed up to Leeds and informed Ron'an-Liam.Harper, a Molly, apparently, of his fine. He didn't want to pay, and insisted on explaining himself. He then made his fine worse by confessing to Disrupting the Smooth Flow of Trade, and then threatened with a lawyer. I don't want to know what Molly lawyers look like, nor do I want to find out, so I took better judgement and applied lethal force.
Sadly, idiots live. As I was besting the Barghest, a Rheinlander, Emmon-Karaya, supplied the Dubliner with additional Shield Batteries and Nanobots. If I would be so bold to ask, please do apprehend this bloke and get him to pay the fine. I swear some of these Rheinlanders aren't exactly right. Their passing rates can't be as high as the other houses...
Despite the setback, though, I still bested the fool, and he fled to Dublin. Good for him, he can go back to whatever hole he came from. He'll come back, and we'll still be here, and then we can teach him what rehabilitation really is.
Blimey idiot Rheinlanders,
~Aidan Greene

Good day all,
I stopped the man that almost killed me today. Emmon-Karaya was fined two million credits for assisting the enemy, this time a Molly with bats/bots in the West Leeds Smog Cloud. He resisted, tried to run from Southampton orbit, and threatened to invoke a sanction on me. Who would sanction me is a good question, but I threatened to impose sanctions on him in the form of removing docking rights from Bretonian stations. Worked well enough, and I got the fine.
On another note, it seems that the IMG haven't done too much of their homework. I caught one moving Deuterium to a Zoner base. Though we allow them to supply Holman and their further holdings, provisions for Zoner bases aren't visible. He acted with a lot of hostility, this IMG shipper, and I did not believe him when he said he was going to Freeport 10. I contained him at Leeds. He continued to complain. He opened the Bretonia Legal Charter, and looked for a loophole. We eventually had to let him go when he said he was going to Holman Outpost.
In the meantime, a trader by the name of HighRoller was caught with Gold headed to New Tokyo. He admitted to it quickly enough, and said he would return to Dublin. He headed off to the West Leeds Smog Cloud, which was very suspicious. I followed. He was, indeed, lying, and he charged cruise engines to run the gauntlet. When I disrupted him to inform him of his charges, he fired on me. I showed him, however, that a Hussar is more than a match for his scrap of metal.

Yet again Mon'Star has shot me down in flames. This time I did get a quick word or two in about why he was conducting a "social experiment" on a a number of Refugees. Luckily "Freebird.Alpha(ZRT)" and others came to my aid tractored in my pod (I had given them permission to bring zoner capitals into Leeds). They then drove Mon'Star into the LD-14 asteroid field where they had to abandon the chase due to danger. If any one meets Freebird again give him my thanks.

Greetings,
Today I launched from New London with my Paladin. I decided to head out to Manchester, as there were vague reports of trouble. Upon arriving in Manchester, I didn't find any trouble. I did, however, meet some of our allies from Liberty, in the form of two LPI Transports, carrying Platinum. They were heading for Newcastle, so I offered to escort them. They accepted.
We flew through New London, meeting only a few Corsair rookies. I radioed ahead to Leeds, and they told me Leeds was clear. Just the same, I went through first to make sure. I arrived at Planet Leeds in the middle of a Kusari raiding party, and would have been destroyed were it not for the Derby, who made short work of them.
I continued on to Newcastle and continued to chat with the LPI-HSP.Tuscon and Forrest City. They traded their Platinum for Super Alloys and headed back for Liberty. I escorted them as far as the Cortez gate, then returned to base.

Hello everyone,
In between bouts of depression and paperwork, I happened to go out for a patrol. It was rather fruitful, I think. A great success, even! Lifted my spirits quite a bit.
First, I must celebrate the licensing of three people. "Cetus", seires, and Trader_Joke all payed for Military Vehicles Licensing. I submitted the proof here.
After this, I must say that the amount of Big Dragon Transports has certainly increased in Bretonia. I must have inspected four of them today. They all seemed trustworthy, though, and I let them be on their way. Thank the queen for that.
Onto the third order of business, I got a distress call from one TraderBot[i] in Cambridge. Unfortunately, he was past the Cambridge Line and in the Wilks Field. Apparently there is a Jump Hole there to Omega-5. Shameful, really. I warned everyone about the dangers of entering fields like that, and the major dangers of using unsanctioned Jump Holes. Sadly, I think I was ignored. Despite this, though, the trader reached Cambridge orbit and called for help again. I rushed to assist, only to encounter a Corsair Gunboat, [i]Bukaki. The trader and I jumped to New London, and the trader got away while I held the Gunboat at the Cambridge Gate. In the end, he ran into some hole in the middle of nowhere.
A good day. Three licenses made, four legitimacies verified, one trader's life saved.

An unusually busy patrol today, usually nothing is stirring during my graveyard ship but today after chasing an missing a Rhineland trader I paused by the New London jumpgate and was about to ajust course when lo and behold a Corsair in a Correo comes through the gate.
I told him imediatley to leave and sheparded him to the Magellan jump gate through which he passed without acting hostile.
I then encountered an indepentant trader heading to NL. I stopped, scanned and escorted him through to New London and held off a squadron of Corsair Raiders preying on the NL -> Manchester gate while he entered the tradelane.
Evidently he was quite pleased and upon his successful delivery of cargo to Thames Outpost, he paid me 1,000,000 credits surprisingly which I accepted to pay for the ordanance used and damage sustained while fighting off the Corsairs.
Moving on to Cambridge I came across a large group of MM loitering around Battleship Norfolk, but they all soon vanished on some mission or another.
Before leaving Cambridge I accosted some chap in a Kingfisher with incorrect credentials but he was obviously to incompetent to opperate the communications in his utterly pointless vessel and I let him be to fix it after only one very sketchy response.
I then happened upon a group of traders passing between New London and Leeds (and back again) who, fortunatley for them, were not carrying any contraband as one of them, having called me his "Fair Lady", was close to being on the wrong end of my Ultra Sunrail.
Later I chased a Zoner Guard smuggling Black Market Munitions through New London, Through Manchester and into Cortez where the trail went cold. Be warned that this is happening.

It appears that the universe has provided for the previous lack of action that the last month of my patrols have contained with a day of fast paced action that tested me in new ways.
After recieving a complaint from a trader passing from Planet Leeds to the New Castle gate, I rushed to sector F7 and found the trader gone, apparently unharmed and no sign of pirates.
I met up with an Armed Forces chap who apparently is in training for the BAF.
He informed me that there were two Buccaneers preying on the lane who had scarpered as soon as they realized that lawfuls were about. We headed towards the Manchester Jumphole and we picked them up on our scanners. They cursed and disappeared off scanners, We asumed that they had jumped through to Manchester or Magellan but our long range sensors stated otherwise. They had very cunningly led us towards the jumpholes and then gone around out of sensor range asuming we would be stupid and go through the jump holes.
However this clever bit of manouevreing was just the start of their cunning. I surmised that they had given us the slip and we moved to the New London gate and cought up with them near Planet Leeds and so began a chase through tradelanes, but the clever swines disrupted a lane after they passed through to delay us.
A merry chase through the explosive gas field of New London followed slowing us down further as my little Hussar's shield couldn't take the strain of trying to cruise and intercept.
We followed them through to Manchester, trading insults, but they escaped through the Leeds Jumphole and we were back to square one.
I noted they had jumped to Newcastle afterwards and a plan began to form in my mind but I required more Police or Armed Forces Officers.
And lo and behold a Mandalorian Mercenary appeared as I plotted outside the Leeds -> Newcastle Jumpgate.
I told him to guard the Newcastle gate to prevent them from jumping back into Leeds while the BAF trainee went to guard the Dundee Jumphole into Newcastle.
I took a risk and made a foray into Kusari territory. Encountering no enemy vessels at the Tau 31 Gate I cruised to the New Castle Jumphole and took up position just outside it on the New Castle side.
This setup covered 3 of the 6 possible exits from New Castle. The damn system is like one of those foreign style cheeses that Christy makes up when milk solids come in from Cambridge. Too many holes.
Fortunatley an MI5 Agent turned up and seemed to have an interest in the situation so I sent "Agent" Azalea to guard the manchester jumphole.
The Buccaneers were obviously aware something was happening as they broadcast on an open chanel that we had forgot to cover the Tau 31 Jumphole... which was were I was holding position. The trap was set and I asumed that soon I would have them headed off with a large group of BAF behind them (another Ensign had rushed to the cause) however the "Agent" Began re-arangeing my net allowing them clear access to Inverness through which they jumped to with no hesitation.
From there we lost track of them much to my irritation.
Then, adding to my frustration, the "Agent" began to tell me how poor my net was and regailed me with an explanation that I should have cornered them in a system without as many jumpholes, clearly not noticing that if we attempted to shepard them through into a less escapeable system they would just pull some of their fancy moves and jump back to Leeds and the viscious cycle would continue.
After this disaster I moved back to Leeds while the BAF moved off with the arival of two of their superiors to apprehend a rampant Outcast in Tau 31 and some stray Molly Gunboats in New London while I was given the shatteringly important job of catching a Blockade Runner identified by the "Agent" who was busy with some job deemed much to important for me.
The Blockade Runner undocked from Leeds to find himself surrounded by a large contingent of BAF (having dispatched the Molly's and the Outcast) and one very cranky BPA Constable who was very ready to squeeze the trigger of her weapons.
After the runner got over the shock I told him that he had to pay 500,000 for running the blockade and to get out of Bretonia; Unfortunatley, due to the confuzing babble of five BAF officers, I didn't imediatley tell the others that he had paid, but the runner made it hard on himself by jetting off as soon as the transfer was complete. He was stopped by a hail of fire from the others but we let him on his way.
Be warned other officers, Watch out for Blockade Runner: SGT_DRAKAR
Watch out for Buccaneers: Buc|Cocytus

Hello everyone,
It is a good day when I get to hand out promotions. It has come to my attention that the following constables have been recognized for great valor and increasing dedication to our group. Now that I have been given the power to do so, the following titles apply to the following constables:
Chief Constable Benford Calvert
Chief Constable David Anthony
Commander Lucy Silsbury
Captain Lachlan McArthur
Captain Adam Savins
It is a great pleasure to promote these people and they are a great addition to our organization. Hopefully in the next weeks when our fortune turns, more of our citizens will rise to the occasion and join the Constabulary.
I would also like to extend the Commander Rank of both the Commerce Control Division (CCD) and Special Response Division (SRD) to anyone of Captain rank or above. There is no extra responsibility aside from dictating who can and cannot join the SRD and CCD. All in all, very simple jobs with very little paperwork.
To the new Chief Constables Benford Calvert and David Anthony, please contact me on the external channels you now have access to so we may talk about the new positions and domains of power. (Skype or PMs)
I hope I wasn't repetitive with the words time and dedication,

Having pinned the Police Commander badge on my uniform I discovered that the new rank came with paperwork, lots of paperwork.
After the restructuring of the BPA I deemed it necessary to tidy up the investigation files which were in a terrible mess. They are now in a simple and effective format, but the effort took the Inspectors and I three weeks of solid work. However after this was done I decided to take a patrol flight from New London where I came across Chief Commissioner Palmer, but his desk apparently was calling to him and he docked after a very brief conversation.
I then discovered a trader carrying Alien Artifacts; I halted him and escorted him to Sunderland Research Station and forced him to sell his cargo there.
I then recieved a transmission from a Gateway shipper who had spotted a Corsair by the name of "Dare" skulking through New London space.
I assumed that he would be trying to make for Corsair space so I headed directly to Cambridge and was rewared when a ship matching his description popped up on my long range scanner.
I had a hunch that he would be heading for the Omega 5 jumphole and just as I got within 15 klicks of the jumphole this "Dare" appeared on scanners.
He jumped to Omega 5 immediatley and I decided not to follow, Omega 5 is a hell hole.
I am now returning to New London to my ever waiting desk.
