Oh and sub targeting... way too late. Plus, they are usually sitting at the gate. Therefore, I would like a system of knowing BEFORE jumping into the system. Heck, I wonder if I'll even care, after all I have one eye on the anime and one eye on the freelancer.
Basicly thats sad, just be glad you can look in the chat and try to avoid them. besides being taxed is not so bad. Good RP leads to good RP and less : give everything and die.

Besides, as a powertrader you have no reason to whine. I have dont nothing but do legal trade routes and even I make a lot of money. What is the fun if you have all the ships you want and the money just sits there being idle.

If you want to powertrade, I think you are on the wrong server ...

Thats what she said.

Honestly, I am sure that most characters would have heard at least once about most if not all of the names of lawful and unlawful factions and what they do and what they stand for. Because of this, and the fact that most weapons tell you what kind they are in the wireframe scanning mode, there is little reason that this method would be metagaming, if you ask me.

While being quite funny, your sig was the biggest one i've ever seen so far. No more than 700x250 please. ~utrack

I actually used to use the chat list to look for pirates so I could deliberately go where they were. When I came to the conclusion I just wasn't going to get stopped by the LR- on my trader, I gave up.

Now, I just pick a route, frequently through Cali and wait and see what happens.

Also, I still don't know what isk is but it seems you're more addicted to it than an Outcast is to cardi. Bad sign perhaps?

I do lawful stuff only. Except the occasional once or twice when theres a pirate blocking my usual route.

Powertrader as in I stick to my RP route but I do it a lot just for the $$.

Isk is cash I guess. =)
Basically if you're doing the common routes, expect to be stopped at one point. Also, harass LN to escort you if you're doing the legal corporation routes. They should. For free. But tip them well.

I have a suggestion...go play Monopoly:P

Ok *serious face*
You so perfectly embody the so-called "powertrader" that people often talk about around here, and what I still can't wrap my head around is, what do you need to collect all that money for? To get the biggest baddest battleship? Is it some deep-seeded urge to hoard something, anything at all? Status symbol? Maybe I'm just a loony, but flying around by myself, purposefully trying to avoid all interaction and making loads of imaginary money that won't even get me anything sounds about as exciting as hemorrhoid ointment (yum!)

I'm asking this in the most genuine way possible, what is so appealing about playing the game this way?

I'm sorry Cossack.

I get that title.

What do we need all that money for? God knows. For an unexpected... situation.

Heh.. I just like to horad my cash. Once I bought a Yacht, made it a casino, but wanted to sell it right away. Almost bought a L Liner, better that i didn't. Just no joy in anything like that. So far, ptrans is the god.

Well talking to you pple are no use, nice way to hold a friendly discussion by flaming the hell outta me.
Anyway, maybe I can jolly well afford to lose a few convoys now and then, but pirates being total jerks = not cool

Just calling for measures to remove the bad ones or not let them grief, many traders I spoke to (ok a few, didn't speak to 'many') did say some pirates are jerks just hiding behind RP to totally wreck others' day too. so why don't they RP in such a way that no one gets totally smackdowned?

And suddenly rolling on two LR- hfs with a LABC, then yelling about us being cowards and then yelling around about //LEAVE 4 HOURS is perfectly good yes?
