why not just make the LF, HF and VHF bit smaller???
like the republican starfighter in star wars.... its a cockpit with wings and engine.... its small, our ships are like 5 familycars stuck together...
so i think instead of making bombers slower (wich will make them cap food VERY fast) we should make fighters smaller... that way their more of a threat, as their not as easy to snac

As it is I'd say over 90% of the weapon projectiles are missing already in fights. This would make 30 minute fights last 45 to 1h fights easily between any good pilots who know a bit of dodge. As it is now delivering a killing blow is already hard job.

Isn't that the whole point? Why should 3/4 of all the bombers be so boldly squaring off with all fighters and winning? Apart from the BHer bombers (god those things are huge) it's actually quite easy for me to do a bombing run on a capship or even other fighters. If you want I can upload a vid of me battling a few creeps in cali and that was from 2 weeks of playing after not being in the action for like 8 months.
Bombers are balanced not to kill VHF, unless VHF is a nab, an idiot or doesnt know what he's doing. Currenty at our comunity the 3th variation it the most common. They think that they should fight bomber the same way they do fight aother VHF. Thats no wonder it causes em to loose. Adn leter go whine to forums "Bombers to powerful bla bla bla"

that is a suggestion to make bombers further specialized to become anti cap instead of having any chance of being anti fighter/bomber.
if you give them slow guns, they cannot deshield a dodging fighter, but can hit capital ships with sufficient ease.
if you restrict the razor and inferno to fighter only, the bombers have lost their ability to 1 shot the fighter shields, a further restriction to allowing them to fight fighters.
if you restrict them by giving them custom guns and thus restricting their gun slots so that they cannot mount missiles, they cannot use paralysers, cannonballs, sidewinders or firestalkers against fighters/bombers, which is another reason to make them more specialized as anti cap.
EDIT: and yes, vilkas is correct. the reason people die in fighters against bomber is because they fly straight into the bomber's supernova shot without shields and without dodging, and then they make whining posts that bombers should be nerfed.

And believe me, VHF vs bomber didn't changed at all, it's even worst.
Worst of all are the gunships (BHG one mostly), they became nearly invulnerable.
We made then high range also to allow counter of solaris, but an osiris can dodge it easily. Such guns are pain in ass for cap killing and don't change at all VHF vs bomber fights.
