Looks nice, but all this orbiting of planets would look "bad" with non orbiting planets.
I mean ones orbit others don't...
Make just moon orbit planets.
What i always loved to think even i know it wasn't like that, was that all those things are orbiting sun together with lanes, ships and stuff and we don't notice it:D, they kept me from going wild because they are not orbiting and now
with some planets that orbit and some don't, that would be ... ehm ... don't know
Edit: I wish those guys that made FL made those planets orbiting, ah well. If you cant make everything orbiting dont make half planets orbit and half not to orbit, but thats my opinion

Wow, nice job!
I can see this causing trouble if Manhattan floated around New York... :-\
Any chance I can has code?:P
I'd like to fly around a bit with this on...
This idea would be awsome. I thought of that some time ago but then considered allt he mess it would cause, I mean tradelanes would be useless so pirates will have to adapt to planets orbit...wait that would be great actually, instead of sitting on the lane... but then tradelanes would be useless
Docking with things as they orbit can sometimes look funny. More regarding things with animations like Jumpgates, tradelanes and docking rings.
In any case, good work. Did you figure it all out yourself or use the tutorial over on the Starport? I was thinking about poking around in it but without tradelanes, the only thing it could be used for might be moons as has been said. That may look a bit odd still though :s

Yeah... this will cause SERIOUS problems and I don't approve. Objects orbit at different speeds, the tradelanes would be thrown out of whack, jump holes would end up inside planets...
This is a very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very bad idea.
