[color=#FFFFFF]I beg to differ, the Shifts are amazing, despite having the EA badge they were made by a British game studio which is now working on Project Cars, which is a community based game, meaning anyone can download the kit, create something and submit it to the studio for review and implementation in the game. Those guys have some proper talent

Shift is a GREAT arcade racer with nifty graphics, however in terms of realism and "proper" racing its nowhere near Forza, which is the greatest racing game ever created. Shift might well be the best arcade racer ever made though.

[color=#FFFFFF]I concur, I never claimed it to be proper race simulator, Project Cars however will expand a lot on that, it will even have a "virtual cockpit" like in an airplane simulator, with all the buttons and dials clickable

There's one thing lacking from Forza and that is a proper "career mode", where you earn points and get ranked on a score board throughout the season, like in real life Formula 1 - it looks like Project Cars has it all, including an interesting way of involving the community. I'm registering on their forum now:-)

I'm playing NFS: WORLD again..... only been back for about two weeks.

You don't need to buy the game, you can download it for free or at least I was able to when I got it.

Yes, you can buy 'boost' using real world money, but you don't really need it..... unless you want some of the nicer 'super cars' or some *really* good performance parts.

You can be competitive without spending any money at all... BUT it'll take a bit of time to get there without it.
