I'd host the server but I don't have a box for serving and my internet is a changing thing... Dynamic IPs + wireless = hell.

They have Wireless in Canuckidia now ? Last week I was told the most advanced form of net connectivity in Canada, was two tin cans with fishing line strung between the bottom of the tin cans... Might have been Quebec they talked about then..

Better not do anything back. Just like in Discovery, 'he started it' is no excuse for doing anything illegal.
It would be nice if we can report him to his own provider.

Any action being taken against them would require knowing who they are. I'm going to write an abstract about why this can't be done, hopefully an analogy to something less technical will help everyone understand.

that is just wrong.. There are better ways, One would be to make him watch reruns of the help channel on how to use your remote control, That would be very nice of us and after about a year that person wont be able to DDoS anything.. however he would know very much about his remote control...
