I don't think that the problem with the LFs are the guns, more likely the insta-kill vulnerability. Remembering a furball in Kusari yesterday at least one LF died to nuke-spam by running into 2 of them at once. A VHF would have survived that. though not so sure about that triple-mine bunch I've seen there too...

Only thing could be added is "Mini Razor" for LF, i mean miniature mini razor for LFs. Those who can use normal Mini Razor would use it still. But those who cant should get Mini T slot for Mini Mini Razor. Little bit faster then normal but less stronger.

You mean like a.....micro razor? Yes, LF's do need more firepower i must say, flying a libby in the LPI against a bunch of lolwtf bombers in annoying, it's an endless fight. I'd take a HF against anything at all though, i love meh HFs. Nice turning and good firepower = awesomeness.

Yes fully agree with that. I don't think it can/should be removed though, but would be nice to allow them near insta-kill ability themselves.

Adding second mine slot would do that fine imo, makes them deadlier, but also vulnerable to 1 cd self-kill.

In my opinion, Light Fighters need more agile weapons. Something like the Gunboat Missiles, but with a much lower damage and a higher refire rate.

Another thing that I would love to see is an impulse/thruster speed increase on LFs. That way they'll truly be scary.

In 4.84 the nomad light fighter gad a torp slot,and i mounted inferno, or mini rasor? not sure with Kraken's,and i took on 4 VHF's in NY and won. Make a few more light's able to mount these, and you WILL! see alot more LF's.
I agree right now they are weak,and the LF's then can do some damage are the size/speed of a HF,and even VHF. Can you say PWND.

We have Razors... Mini razors...

WE HAVE GLAIVE... but no MINI GLAIVE..... yes i know its gallic. But say a Mini-glaive..... its very fast...... much faster then MR... but less damage and energy.... just to make this interesting... we make it able to -almost- instakill a VHF, without uau of any sort...

The Mini glaive will be a high speed weapon.... should fit well, given that most LF/HF only have between 6-9000 energy....


Oh yeah... we need a buff to the class 8 guns too... like Wyrm.... class 8 is 480 hull... class 9 = 630

something like that.... its a HUGE gap... thats what im saying... say we buff all lvl 8 guns with 25-50% more hull and shield.. but just 10-15% more energy.... really, it should balance itself out...

The damage would probably half to be around half, or a bit more than half of what you suggest, though - but otherwise, I think that's a fabulous idea.
