I really don't get why you guys are questioning the AW-HF alliance. AW is closely related to Zoners. Wow, that means they're not Zoners. They have their own ID, and their own RP. Also, don't start getting all mad about LH and Zoners being allied. Think about SA and FEAR. No RP there. SF-RM, Hmmm, no RP there either. What Hype was saying meant that the AW do not have the same conditions as the SA, SF, RM and KNF.
Bear in mind, he was probably saying this because all of those factions are lawful. AW is different and operates under different conditions to the other 4 mentioned, so we could get into a discussion about this too.
Even if this is the FL world, diplomacy is still very delecate, as it is in the real world. You cant say that "so-and-so is allowed to do this but i cant!". This is because each different circumstance has different conditions, with different policies associated with them. You cant just slap a blanket on all the factions saying that they must operate in a specific way.
The reason this debate started in the first place was to question/clear up the issue of AW's diplomacy. I believe we have done this.
Alliances do not break on the whim of fate. How hard do you think it would be for the EU to split up? Im sure all that have the power would try to hold it together. Even if two countries inside the EU are on the verge of war and the rest of the member states are becomming polarised over the issue.
Moreover, the second half of the 2-liner was totally inappropriate for a reasoned discussion. How would you react if Tony Blair, Gordon Brown or George Bush told his adversaries in parliament that they can go screw themselves. First of all, the other politicians would piss themselves laughing and second of all, the politician who issued that statement would be forced to resign. Fortunately this isnt the case in FL, but think about what you sound like. If you get pissed off calm down before writing.
I know, i find it hard somtimes too, but it must be done.

I think FEAR are mercenaries, so that point is valid. SF and RM have had, however, a long standing good relationship, and such a tight tie as that cant be broken easily by a simple cooling of relations due to choosing different sides in the war.
On an unrelated note, is this interhouse soon-to-be Sirius-wide war representative of WW II...I mean, Japanese and Germans (Axis) and British and American (Allies) on opposing sides.

McNeo, thats EXACTLY what they have, and are, doing to AW. Everyone on this server thinks they have a right to pick at AW's flaws, and say you have to do this, you have to do that. You have to act this way, and have these allies.
This is why I'm arguing.
I'm done conceding to people's demands on how i need to change AW. Most of these are just what people want me to do so they don't have to deal with AW anymore (AW-HF alliance argued by Former-BSG, current-SA/SF members). From now on, the changes I make are those I want to make, changes admins make me make, or changes the majority of my members want. From now on any requests/demands from anyone thats not an admin or AW member will be ignored, if people have constructive IDEAS or SUGGESTIONS on something they think could help AW or better it in some way, I'm all ears, but I'm simply fed up with, and done with complaints.
You want AW to change? Then join and see how AW is actually ran and operated, until you do you don't know what we do, how we do it, or why we do things we do.
Its like saying what a Virus feels like, when you've never experienced it, only observed from aside. Sure, you might see it hurts a little or alot, or where it might hurt someone the most, but you won't know everything, or the subtleties of the virus, until you've experienced having it yourself.

Also, they are not saying you "have" to, they are pressureing you to give way. Also, your unwillingness, in their eyes, to fix or even acnowledge their problems with AW frustrates them. Hence why we have lots of complaints/heated arguements.

Thats like barricading yourself in a building. On the topic of constructive ideas and suggestions, i discussed that earlier in this post. They overlap on both the top quote and the one being reffered to now.

You do realize, FEAR call themselves "lawful pirates", and their RP is screwed up. They're Junkers, but they have a Military ID, and they fly Outcast Destroyers, and they used to fly Corsair Dreadnaughts.

Riiiight, I've given way, and all they do is find more things to pick about, THAT is the reason I've stopped, just in the last week, listening to anyone's complaints. If they can't be satisfied ever, why listen to them?

I never said they had to join to get us to change, I said if they want to COMPLAIN than maybe they should join. As I said, constructive criticism, ideas, and suggestions are just fine with me. Its the complaining and the whining I'm not going to listen to anymore.
