Today's duties began with me taking off with my bomber and doing a short patrol around the Vaterland. As soon as I got to Stuttgart, I met a BMM trader passing through the system, requesting an escort through Rheinland on his route torwards Kusari. Since I didn't have any other things to do, I assumed escort formation.
However, I was quickly notified of an Outcast gunship roaming around New Berlin, then going to the planet itself to wreak havoc. I told the Bretonian transport to take another route, while I went to Planet Berlin to check out the validity of the transmission. On the first note, I didn't have a visual, but then the gunship was spotted near the Frankfurt gate, where I caught it immediately. The Tridente-class gunship designated as kiran was attacking miners passing through the area without a valid reason. I ordered the ship's captain to cease fire, which it did at that point. I attempted to place him under arrest in order to learn his motives and the reason for his presence in Rheinland, which would be later followed with escorting him out. However, as soon as another mining ship showed up, the tridente opened fire at the incoming civilian. I ordered it again to stand down, then it started shooting at random directions. Failing to comply with my orders, I was forced to open fire.
The Outcast didn't retaliate, instead it started fleeing into Frankfurt. I followed and kept firing cruise disruptors as it, neutralising his attempt to escape. As soon as that, a Freelancer Kujira-class ship showed up, designated as WolfO'Donnel, claiming to be the boss of the Outcast terrorist, he told me they belong to a clan called StarWolf (don't ask me what a "clan" is). He told me that the Outcast "doesn't speak english" and "he paid him to trade instead of him". Wolf O'Donnel was as incapable as the Outcast, but I tried explaining them that the Kiran's crew was under arrest and was to be escorted to Vierlande for firing at civilian ships, not respecting the sovereignty of Rheinland and resisting arrest. Wolf O'Donnel told me that his underling would comply with my orders to escort him into custody, but as soon as we were about to jump to New Berlin and my cruiser escort left off, the Tridente attempted to escape again, while opening fire at my vessel. I was of course, forced to retaliate. The molten wrecks of the gunship are drifting somewhere near the Frankfurt-Berlin gate.
After that event, my next task was tracking down the late Kiran's employer, Wolf O'Donnel. He was responsible not only for bringing that terrorist into Rheinland, but had to answer for giving orders to destroy my vessel aswell. The RNC Ungewitter halted him on the other side of the gate, it was an easy task. I tried confronting O'Donnel, but his replies were most troubled and unsure. He claimed to have hired the Outcast just as we were arresting him in order to protect him in some place called "Alpha". Then he started talking about him going to have "dinner" and that he "left the server" and "went to real life". Since I recall seeing a few medical reports of this sort, it was obvious that this man was infected by the sickness called the Lawl's syndrome, just as his Outcast underling. Eventually, Major Gunter Rall arrived to take charge with a medical specialist of some sort. The Freelancer was then told that he would be escorted to Bering, but he chose to flee torwards Frankfurt instead. We caught him and was ordered to rip his ship apart.
Later on, we met a trespassing DSE miner, called Dwarf. He chose to evade our inspection and ignore the fact that he was already escorted out of Rheinland a few minutes before. We caught him in New Berlin, where he told us that he didn't respect Rheinland authoirty and we have nothing against him. He was then to be thrown out and banned from Rheinland, but I was caught in an ion strom and missed the following events. I was later assured that the miner was out of Rheinland... for good.

Meine Damen und Herren,
On the 19.12.817 A.S. i was about to make my little break at planet Berlin, but near the planet i have met a strange vessel-Gentle. . He was talking senseless things like that i should give him my face so he can donate it to the temple? I have seen that he isnt a common criminal or whatever he was. Also that kind of ship i have seen only twice and the first time the pilot wasnt so talkative as this one was. After some of this talks he engaged me. The fight wasnt so difficult becouse his biggest mistake was his trying to hit me with his torpedos. I think he didnt realised that im using the cd and nearly all of his torpedos were just exploding near his ship. In the end of the fight he realised that he cannot beat a Rheinland military officer and he fled. Im sorry meine Damen und herren but i couldnt stop him and he got away. But i think after this, he wont return to Rheinland soon.

Gentle.
As soon as my ship was repaired and ready to continue with the patrol i have recieved a massage from a trader that a ships is disturbing the lane in the Frankfurt system. I mooved directly there to see what is going on. There, near the Lane to Mannheim station my scanner showed a ship-Danius . I stepped out of the lane and asked what is he doing and who is he. He introduced himself as a corsair making a vacation here. I explained him the situation that i have heared some complains about him. He was trying to convince me that he isnt the right person and so on. But the evidences were agains him and i had to take him to vierlande. He didnt wanted to cooperate and engaged me, but after some minutes his ship was destroyed and the trade round was safe again.

I was called to duty following several sightings of two Lane Hacker ships in New Berlin, a reserve pilot called Charcoal was already addressing the issue. Since we failed to locate any of them, I switched priority to securing the civilian traffic in-system. A Junker Salvage Frigate, the Silver Shovel requested an escort to Bering, so I left my reserve pilot behind in order to track the Hackers down, while I escorted the slightly armed Junker vessel to Liberty territory (with an empty cargo bay of course). The captain of the Salvager was a rather cheeky one, good thing Bering wasn't far away, his anarchist nonsense was getting hard to tolerate.
In the meantime, the Hackers were confirmed to have relocated to Hamburg. I ordered Charcoal to relocate and begin a sweep for them, while I told all ships in the system to proceed to the Hamburg checkpoint for inspection. The two Lane Hackers have showed up for a brief moment, I identified the ships as Destroyer and Firewall, two Broadsword-class bombers and ordered them to cut their engines and prepare to be thrown out of Rheinland. They refused to obey and went out of range quickly. Following that, I informed them that they would be treated as hostiles if they fail to cooperate, but they openly refused to comply. The reserve pilot went after them, but couldn't locate either. A few minutes later, they announced that they were leaving Rheinland, the scanners of the Westfalen confirmed their departure. Hopefully, they weren't gathering information of some sort and the situation was resolved with their departure.
A few minutes following that, we spotted a Freelancer armored transport moving torwards the Westfalen, with a full hold of Vacationers. The ship was designated as BumBleBee. I asked him where he was going, he told me that he was taking the people to Pennsylvania. I was about to ask some further questions, when the transport suddenly started moving. I fired a disruptor at it, but for some reason he retaliated with shooting live firearms at me. After giving straight orders to cease fire, my only chance was to retaliate with trying to disarm the ship. I was quite successful at evading the pulse turrets while keeping the ship under fire at the same time, crippling the transport to a major level. I again ordered the captain to power down and surrender, the damaged ship chose to obey. I read him his rights and the charges that he had to face, that being avoiding inspection, resisting arrest, firing at a Military vessel and putting hundreds of civilian lives into jeopardy. The captain decided to comply with my orders, but he claimed that he didn't have 8 million credits to pay the fine for firing at a Military ship. I told him that on that account, he was to be arrested and taken to Vierlande. He disarmed his guns and followed me while I took him to the prison. The arrest was successful, I took him to Vierlande where marine crews Messer einz and Messer zwei took charge of the ship upon docking. I also managed to secure the civilians he had on board, he released the 400 former vacationers in an escape pod, tractored into a docking bay of Vierlande too. The captain of the BumBleBee was arrested along with the navigation and weapons crew, Admiral Malte told me that the civilians he had on board had their wounds treated, were inspected and taken to Planet Hamburg and that the crew of the armored transport were now facing trial.
Following a few hours of pause, mainly due to the paperwork that followed the event, I started my duties again, beginning a patrol of New Berlin. It was quickly interrupted by a Volksfront member, Daniel Boehmer. I have been encountering this man a lot, we have also lost numerous Police officers to this terrorist, I knew that he was a formidable threat to deal with. This day was no different. Just as I got to Planet New Berlin, I spotted the Volksfront pilot fighting Gefreiter Karl Schulz. The Gefreiter was taking a heavy beating from the terrorist, I was preparing to interfere. Major Gunter Rall also arrived to survey the situation and ordered me to drop into the fight, while covering the escape of the Gefreiter from the vile revolutionary. I was successful at first, the Gefreiter could escape while I took his place. The Bundschuh was indeed a tough target, he managed to score quite a few well-placed hits and missiles, damaging my ship slowly. I'd even say we were of somewhat equal fighting skills, but there was a Military training on my side to consider. Using that advantage, I was successful at making him run into a pair of nuclear mines and ripping his ship into radioactive pieces, unfortunately he ejected fast enough to escape. The pod quickly wanished from our eyes though, I'm sure this man will return.
His reinfocements were not far away. Two Red Hessian Army ships, piloted by Adolph Hessler and Ferdinand Gryneus arrived too late to save their "comrade". Gefreiter Schulz was ordered to take Hessler out at first, but more enemies kept pushing in, a Falcata-class bomber, piloted by Anton Tassilo came in and also an RFP Mjolnir, the Volkswagen. Soon, open fighting broke out. Major Rall ordered me to engage the enemy targets aswell, while he himself opened fire too. We were to take down the Falcata, while the Hessians made the Volkswagen enjoy priority, which was our first loss in that engagement (despite the fact that he was not ordered to engage). Tassilo was also given heavy damage, which led the lunatic pilot to attempt landing New Berlin without using the docking ring. Needless to say, he was ripped to pieces in the athmosphere, I doubt he could launch an escape pod. Some backup arrived on both sides, Feldwebel Wenzel Kreuzchen from the Rheinwehr and Hans Botzler from the RHA, Koroglu, a Unioner and a heavily armored Heimdall, the Hans Van Rot arrived to engage. We quickly found outself outnumbered, but that didn't seem to matter. Even though we lost Feldwebel Kreuzchen and Gefreiter Schulz had to withdraw, we forced Adolph Hessler into retreat. Our second wave of backup totally turned the tide, Hauptfeldwebel Gunter Weissman and Gefreiter Sven Wolf arrived to deal with the gunboat in bombers, while Vizeadmiral Walter Krupinski and Obergefreiter Otto Weddigen came to clear the rest of the enemies up. Hans Botzler and Ferdinand Gryneus both bit the Vizeadmiral's perfectly placed razor shots, while Koroglu, who committed the mistake of attacking our bystanding bomber wing and Otto Weddigen, forced the so far idle ships into engagement. Even though Koroglu was still suffering the after-effects of an ion storm of some sort, he was shot down by a SNAC projectile launched by Hauptgefreiter Weissman's bomber.
Little time went past, I left off to conduct repairs, while Krupinski, Flieger Hans Putzkammer and Major Rall dealt successfully with another enemy assault wing consisting of several Unioner ships. While they were doing so, me and Hauptfeldwebel Lenora Schneider were called to respond to the presence of several other Hessian ships, flying under the flag of some smaller attack wing, the Red Barons. At first, we only met their leader, introducing himself as Gottfried Halse. However, quickly three more of them arrived, as well as a Red Hessian Army member, Gunther Hoerst. Fortunately, Vizeadmiral Krupinski, Major Rall, Flieger Putzkammer and Feldwebel Kreuzchen were quick enough to respond, the odds were even again. I didn't pay attention to what made the fight break out, but I soon found myself shooting at the enemy ships again, in my already exhausted state. Halse's men were tough people, I'll give them that. They brought down Feldwebel Kreuzchen and Hauptfeldwebel Schneider in about 30-45 minutes of fierce combat. As far as I know, Schneider was a victim of her own ship systems, as they were suddenly rendered unoperative by a cataclysm of unknown sort. We also destroyed the ship of Benjamin Roeming before we lost anyone. Most unfortunately, I too started experiencing sensor and weapon malfunctions, even though my ship was unharmed after a good 1,5 hours of combat. I had to disengage and leave for repairs on board the Strausberg. I don't know how the fight ended, but I strongly assume that since we had the upper hand all along, the opposing force didn't manage to alter that fact.

Subject: Patrol Report #4, destruction of Red Hessian Army member Klaus Strausburg
while I was moving to stuttgart replying to a distress call of a Kruger miner that was under pirate attack, I met the Red Hessian Klaus Strausburg. He was violating the space of our capital system. After a cargo scanning I saw that he was holding some bounty hunter pilots in his cargo hold. I requested the hessian to drop the pilot but he decided to engage me and the Rheinland Police pilot Ze Hunter. We had no real difficulty in shooting down the traitor.
For the supreme glory of Rheinland,

Hail, recruit Hugo.Stiglitz filing report for patrol duties.
ALG transport requested assistance as he had spotted an Outcast gunship by the name of DONI-BRASSCO in the New Berlin System. Schulz was currently suffering communication difficulties and I was unable to contact Cigar. The ALG transport was calling for help so I had to leave the other RM pilots. The ALG pilot told me his location, Brandenburg border station. I arrived and hailed the Outcast, ordering him to cease fire upon civilians and traders. He continued to fire upon the civilians and traders while maintaining radio silence. I told him I would open fire unless he responded immediately. Still nothing so I attacked. (//after I was told I actually wasn't allowed to open fire because I was a recruit and it was against server rules for a recruit to initiate a fight. I understand my mistake and it won't happen again. I apologize for any trouble this causes RM.) My weapons were too weak for his gunship shields. Luckily Cigar and Schulz soon arrived on the scene and helped me out. With Cigar's superior fire power and Schulz's tactics we were able to successful destroy the pirate, tractor in his crew, and put an end to his civilian/trader/military killing spree. Victory for Rheinland Military.

2nd Report
I met up with Cigar and Putzkammer for mission details. We were in a tradelane to Battleship Strausberg, when it got disrupted by a Unioner by the name of AU-Bardi. We had a little talk, before he announced his intentions and refused to leave. Both sides engaged, even though he was severely out numbered. We tried to negotiate a ceasefire and peaceful solution but he didn't stop. He was targeting me, and unfortunately I had no nanobots and shield batteries as I forgot to refill them. He eventually took me down while I tried to lure him into Cigar's fire. I left for Stuttgart and he was promptly destroyed and tractored in. Victory for Rheinland Military.
Action Report for: Leutnant Lenora Schneider Filed on December 23rd, 817 A.S. Location: Hamburg Action Type: Repulsion of Corsair Invaders (Class 4)
I received word from an anonymous source that a Corsair Osiris-class Battleship was in our territory, and without hesitation grabbed my Bergelmir. I found him just before he jumped to Hamburg, where he expressed no respect for our authority (no surprises there) and began to open fire briefly. Once I jumped through, I shot out the lane and began to pester him with my supernova. Major General Gunther Rall arrived shortly, and we began to pick at the flimsily armored vessel. Within a few minutes, we received word that the Ravensburg was on its way, but only shortly thereafter another Corsair warship, this time a "Legate" going by the name "SWAT", arrived on the scene and opened fire. Both ships had terribly aim, and myself and Rall were almost entirely untouched. When the Ravensburg arrived on the scene, against all odds it succeeded in dodging no less than four mortars and then proceeded to obliterate the Osiris in a single volley. The Legate was destroyed within a minute after that. The Ravensburg reported minimal damage and no deaths, making this a flawless victory for Rheinland.

Guten Abden Piloten,
This is something different for the norm, tonight I don't have any tales of victory on the battlefield, or vital information concerning our enemies. Tonight we honor those within our ranks who have found themselves going beyond and above what is expected of them during their service to the Vatherland and her Military.
In such times we have little to offer but our gratitude, and occasionally some form of acknowledgment. This time such attention does happen to come in the form of promotions.
First to be recognized for their success are Fleigers Emily Hermundt and Shubert Shetland. Both have met the basic gearing requirements, and shown combat skill, and the ability to follow orders successfully time and again. As such, both Shubert and Hermundt are promoted to the rank of Gefreiter, effective immediately.
Next in line having met all the requirements to surpass their current rank is Manfred Von Lorryhofen, to the rank of Hauptgefrieter. There is also a set of two very special promotions welcoming two of our pilots as new Flag Officers. Both Lenora Schneider and Alec Voelkel have received a unanimous vote from high command in their promotions from Hauptfeldwebel to Leutnant.
To our newest Flag Officers, you will have a lot expected of you from this point on, as I demonstrated to Leutnant Schneider by allowing her to lead operations within Rheinland with myself present. You are no longer in a position to things lightly, your decisions will effect many more lives than just your own. In short, you can expect High Command to come down on you.
Congratulations to all those promoted, feel free to forward any questions on my desk at Mecklenburg Station. Admiral Malte is expected to make an announcement soon, far less positive in nature than my own.
[color=#FFFFFF]Subject: Promotions From: Admiral Auztin Engels To: All Rheinwehr forces
Congratulations on all the promotions mein herren und fraulein, You all deserve it, for showing bravery and valour on the battlefield and to the glorious vaterland. Continue flying with the same attitude and you all will see a bright future in the Military.
Signed,
Admiral Auztin Engels
