Barge, big, its a mobile base with factories even. Just expensive and non refundable from what I'm hearing.
Its a pain to move also.
If something cheaper, I think as with everyone else Slave Liner would be the best bet. Large, old looking and has enough firepower and armor just in case.
Any kind of carrier will be fine. Liberty Dreadnought looks okay also, as it had been designed to hold fighters in the first plac, albeit only a few.
ps: if I see anyone mentioning a Zoner Jugg in this thread, I swear I'm gonna go fffuuuuuuuu
edit: we should have a mobile battlestation if that's what you're proposing, one with a bazzilion weapons and the size of a planet. we shall call it... the Deathstar.
Quote:The Slave Liner would probably work. Unfortunately, I would then be on the receiving end of those annoying 'You're a Slaver!' comments.
My junker has had a slave liner for probably 6+ months now, and not once has anyone ever called me a slaver or even hinted at it.
Anyways, the barge actually isnt a half bad idea, and with it's 25k or so cargo space you would be capable of turning yourself into a 'real' mobile base, a commodity center - buy goods from players, sell to other players at slightly raised prices, eventually it would pay itself off... plus it's big enough to actually look like a base.
The thought of running such a ship/base actually intrigues me, if I had the money I might even try it.
-Edit- Wow. I thought I was in Flood. Sorry! Let me post something proper-ish...
To below:
BUGGER OFF. We don't need anymore lulz in Juggernauts. Just because us Zoners get all the cool things, doesn't mean everybody who complains about Zoner politics get to make a request.
Now then. Barge. It's big. It has ships moored on it. It has 40,000 cargo space - more than enough to fit a small city into.
Well, thanks for the suggestions. I originally considered using a Barge, but, yeah, that thing is huge. It is the best thing for my purposes, so I may end up writing a Special Request for one.
To everyone suggesting Battleships: I won't be using one.
@Tenacity (Again): Well, you are one very lucky fellow. Every other person I encountered on the Slave Liners that I've owned in the past has called me a Slaver. D:
