You're three jumps from home in an enviroment completely hostile to you, especially if you're pirating. That would be like me taking my Liberty Rogue and pirating in Honshu.
If you're going to behave hostile towards Liberty Factions, you don't do it in California. That's pushing it too far :|
I would take a Bretonian ship and pirate in Kyushu. Oh, wait...
while i think a rhineland corp pirating in liberty is a bit sus, i'd pirate a bretonian on my kusari corp in liberty if i came across one and it was fairly risk free.

They really take away from the RP, and they usually aren't in player factions. Since I live in Australia, they are generally the only players on when I'm playing. Makes the game kinda lame.
Was mwerte's character green to you when he pirated you?

I agree to Nighthawk's post. RepEx may pirate liberty corporation ships, but only outside of Liberty or in Texas, maybe in New Hampshire cause it's close to Bremen, but not in Libetry systems which can the RepEx vessel only reach when it crosses several other Liberty systems.
Another remark: If someone's reputation is green on your sheet doesn't mean that yours is green on his sheet - you can be red on his side. Always check his ID - that's what you need to know.
Err :/ Rheinland corporations shouldn't be able to operate in Liberty if they pirate Liberty corporations :/ I mean, they're already on thin ice when it comes to not being shot on sight in the first place
An amendment should be made to the IDs stating they can only comit acts of hostility in their own House Space, before we end up with a rampant abuse of the IDs. Traders have enough crap to worry about without rival corporations pirating them as well. :|
Just a question? Is there not a "Zone of Influence" clause somwhere...Like you are allowed to pirate coporations hostile to your house system but only IN your houses systems? So a Liberty corporation can be attacked in Rhienland by a Rhienland corpship and vice versa? I thought I read somewhere that Corporate pirating was allowed only in your own house space.

Good job mwerte.
Agree and I personally happy how there is another rheinland corporation what targeting its competitors too. We shoot out a lot of DSE miner and Interspace what dont carry the allowed cargo by rheinland law.
About Zone of Influence, is it for a shipping company (OK I dont talk about Gallia, thats another story)? Or to a mining company? time to time we enter to our enemies territory and steal minerals like libertonians come to our territory too. The difference, we shoot them out until they cant us.
And a good advice - hire mercenaries next time (What a surprise:))
I don't get it why. Whats wrong with RepEx privateers in Liberty space huh?
its a crippled pirate / trader that has so many restrictions on him, you want to add another one because of what? Of police that can't do their job well and guard the lbierty traders? Too bad.
