Science chars

I was thinking of making a Researcher-ID'd char sometime. Perhaps if anyone wants t share ideas or something that would help get more people into the "business" per se?

I have a researcher too. He's an outlaw from Liberty and Bretonia but he's still a researcher. All the InGen| ships are researchers.

I thought of making a behavioral annalist this one time. I'd fly around Sirius, trying to find the meanest of pirates, the most terrifying of terrorists and try to understand why they do what they do. A pure RP char. Too bad I never really got into it.

I have a Cryer researcher. I haven't done much with him the last month or so because nothing happens. I try to RP research, experiments, publications, hypothesis-testing, etc -- but then the "research" is just ignored. I suppose I could be more of an activist -- "ban terraforming with alien organisms -- it causes AADS!" but that would be both inconsistent with my corporate mission (and sources of income/facilities) and also require people to read research posts buried in a stack of unrelated Cryer comms.

I'm not sure where to go with this. I think if my character had more "pull" on the server, there could be some Cryer-Planetform RP, opportunities for scandalous and immoral backroom deals, etc.

Consumes certain commodities and gives you a random range of credits; works only on research stations and only with researcher ID.

Maybe a way to make researcher ID more valuable...

yeah abbamouse hit it on the head. It's basically pretty boring just talking to yourself whilst pretending to be someone else. like it's your job to write a book that no one will ever read except you.
