I approve the idea. It is simply weird that a battlecruiser charges its engines up with the same speed of a fighter, considering the loadout, difference of mass and whatnot, am I right?
Instead, I'm not really supportive of a better CE charge speed for pirate ships. That way people would prefer them over other types. If we would have to do as you say, I'd propose to enhance other ships' statistice, to balance out.

Then surely Smugglers will use they RolePlay fitting ships more often, becouse huge trade vessels wont be succsesuful to run from police. Furthe more this can even increase escorts usage that will give more variety RP situation.
The cruisse charge tiem is not hardocded I saw this done in serval other mods. What you think?

Sounds like another money-grab by the pirates on this server.
If you make it impossible for a trader to run, then you're taking away a lot of the challenge of being a pirate.

If you make bigger ships have slower cruise engines, then make it true for gunboats, too. They're capital ships, after all.

Great idea... so good infact that we the devs thought of it aswell, a few months ago... Can't say who exactly, but in a way it was implemented...

Its not about the pirating, its only one point for alot of them. So may you stop saing this al the time.

And I didnt ment all pirate ships, only pirate transports/trains, which already has lesser cargo holds.

That could be interesting, especially if the speed was something like this: fighters < freighters < transports < gunboats < other caps.

So fighters would charge the fastest, being small and such. It would also mean chasing a transport down in a capship would be far less effective.

I totally like the idea, that bigger ships (especially capital ships) need more time to hit cruise speed. It might also prevent battleships from chasing behind single fighters.

If you see a trader starting to cruise while you are typing, press "Esc". It will cancel the message you are currently typing and give you back control of your ship, allowing you to cruise disrupt them before they can cruise away.

Actually I use this to determine how much I charge and how I rp.

They take a moment they get off easy and we have fun. I have taken as little as 5 units. Who makes their money pie-ratting anyway?

They charge cruise over and over, 2 mil or dai!!!11!1123 They explode, ussually, shortly after.

System seems to work OK now...
