Just ran an hour's shift in Pennsylvania and New York.
I spent the first few minutes franticly answering many questions. It's good we have our message displayed upon login again.
I helped BroBear with the restart command, explaining to him what it does.
Afterwards I explained to Corraka about the Phantoms, terrorist IDs and special roleplay requests.
After answering a few more questions I spied a person called Buco_[CRO], to whom I had to explain the restrictions on nationality tags on the server.
Whilst doing so, I was approached by MrTwizzpops and asked about trading factions whichw were mainly neutral. I responded by informing him about Universal and Interspace Commerce and I told him where their seperate bases could be found.
During this time I had a long conversation with Ammut about Nomad RP and Nomads in general. When he asked, I dropped him a couple of hints about the location of the Shrine. He seemed quite educated in Nomadic RP, claiming to have read the lore and asked nomad players about their Roleplay.
Then there was a lax in the questions and I had a chance to rest before having to sort out a situation where a player was trying to find a loophole in Rule 5.7 by claiming he had been killed by the base. I had to explain to him that even if he was killed by the base, it was during a PvP engagement, therefore it still counts as a PvP death. It took a while to explain to him about the rule, but I think I got through to him in the end.
After this, I talked with AI-"Zeorph"-Statica about AI ships and the AI ID.
Then, just as I was about to log out, I noticed a character called [Admin]Tom. When I questioned him on his identity he responded with;
[Admin]Tom: I m [Admin]Tom
[Admin]Tom: and you must give me 2mille
[The_Angels]Birdtalon: Why is that?
[Admin]Tom: or you are in bastille the brison
It was obvious he wasn't an admin, so I informed him that he was breaking the rules and that he had to remove the [Admin] tag.
After this he logged off, so I am going to conatct an admin to check he has changed the name so no players get scammed.
Yesterday I did a shift of about 2 and a half hours.
In the time I:
- Helped (USI)Chicago[S] with his money problems.
- Gained neutrality.
- Helped Cherus with some equipement issues.
- Helped several players with locations, etc., as well as other minor things.
I'll be skipping tonight to work on an Algebra essay due tomorrow.
Pushed a shift today, instead of pulling one. (Half an hour or so.)
Moved one of my Angels to a shared account and renamed it. (So you are not surprised.)
Only a few questions. Someone was afraid to ask what they perceived to be a stupid question. To anyone reading, just ask it anyway. Otherwise, you will never know for sure.:)
So I'm casually reading the messages of my beloved Angels, and I stop, my mouth hanging open, I stare unbelievably after reading Angel Xareck's post above.
"I pulled a near 7 hour shift"
WHAT!
Seven hours!!!!
Xareck, you're a blessing. May the splendor and glory of the Angels light your path for all eternity.
I don't like to wear my formal robes when i go to the Big Apple or Peeyay.. and the Outreach can be shared by our other experienced, dedicated Pineal Specialists in the TAZ.
My only regret was that your ship wouldn't carry the Amulets to give away.. what's with that..?
