The Ark continued quietly, avoiding most trade lanes and bases to avoid unwanted attention, using jump holes to go from system to system. After almost a full day's travel, the ship arrived in a cloud in Sigma 19 to rendezvous with the giant colony ship, [TAZ]Med.Force.One.
The patients were transferred immediately to the medical and research wards under the care of chief medical officer Dr. Edward Tesh and his 2nd, Dr. Koji Tenaka. A research and medical team were under their supervision. Unsure of what to expect, the entire section of the ship was sealed off until more was known. The teams themselves wore protective gear as a precaution as well and a security team was place near the sealed door.
The Ark then turned and made it's way back to Shasta in the Baffin system while Med Force headed for the Zoner Guard system of Omicron 74. There, it moored in a remote location to avoid detection and be far away from any base should the unthinkable happen.
The teams began to examine and study the casualties, hoping to learn something, hoping that the new and very advanced equipment on board would be all that was needed to figure out what they were dealing with and help those involved.
