Now that you all flamed the AW, lets flame the SCRA.
When I entered Omega 52, I thought I was to find some xeno base there, but what I found was a zoner base. So, Omega 52 is a zoner system, and if the SCRA is claiming authority over it, they should gonna use the zoner tag combined with their coalition ID, in the same way the AW use a zoner tag combined with the AW ID.
But now enters the question: who of these two is more zoner-like? Lets analyse their conduct. The goal of the AW is to provide security in Omicron Tetha, to traders and neutral parties. AW works as mercenaries as well, providing assistance for a price in any war happening. Also Freeport 10 is protected by the AW (I tried to extend the patrol to Freeport 6 but was very far away). In any case, the goal is to provide a reliable service, acting as a military zoner organization. Military, I say, not civilian. Theres a misunderstanding concerning this point. Some people here think all zoners should be civilians like the ones of Omega 49, and thats not true, we can work as independent mercenaries as well, keeping neutrality the most we can.
Now, lets analyse the SCRA. The goal of the SCRA, according to some of its members that I encountered in-game, is the entire destruction of the Sirius sector. Yes, you read it: the entire destruction of the Sirius sector. This includes hostility to both pirates and house militaries. According to them, they came from a sleeper ship and are here to "finish the job" of some war that happened 800 years ago and most people on Sirius dont known about it. They were using a xeno tag before, but Omega 52 is not a xeno system, and even xenos dont want to destroy the entire Sirius sector. Xenos are most likely to be xenophobes who are against any friendly contact with foreigners, hence their name.
Now, its interesting to note that nobody flames the SCRA, only the AW. The AW is much more zoner than the SCRA, yet people prefer to flame the AW. I find it a hypocrisy, to state that the AW cant align with outcasts and lane hackers, when at the same time the SCRA occupied a zoner system, and the SCRA have as a goal "the destruction of Sirius".

The only thing I would change about thast, is that, everyone in Sirius knows about that war that happened 800 years ago. In the intro movie, they say that they will never forget, so It must have some signifigance.

People in Sirius known about the war between the alliance and the coalition, but only from history data files. You dont see, in the 21st century, french and english fighting each other because of the hundred years war that happened in the middle ages. So is the same in Sirius. Even if russians and chinese were to appear in the game, they probably buried their differences with the former alliance nations, and they will have their own colonies already established somewhere.

Dab, I think you should rewrite the last 'Bulletin' post to reflect the points we all agreed on in this thread. You have no authority to restrict access and make own rules in Omicron Theta. You also cannot speak for the Zoners, you are Asgard Warriors, so you are not authorized to say this for example: "AW authorizes GoR use of any Zoner stations in Sirius".

Wup? Haven't been doing my homework here, obviously. I hope that "GoR can use any Zoner station" was indeed just an example, Majk. Because that would indeed be speaking for a bunch of folk on this server who might not agree. And i'm not just talking our little TAZ in 49. I see more people every day sporting Zoner tags and ID.

So.. yeah. I'd say WE have a say in allowing the GoR unlimited access to Zoner bases, if that were an actual proposal or, heaven forbid, "Edict" by one part of the Zoner hegemony.

Can anyone point me to where that was even suggested?

Yes, a faction controls all the space the NPC they are aligned to control. [ 57 ] ** [81.43%]

@Mal; I believe we already said this in PMs, I forgot to add; Omega-49 is the exception, since we agreed ~V~'s control override's AW's in that system.

Well, that's ducky, but not quite good enough.

I suggest you edit your "Bulletin" toot sweet, Mate.

I'll be watching.

Mal

Edit: Well, I see you have edited the Bulletin. As to your "senior" Zoner status, which supposedly allows you the right to let the GoR plunk down on any Zoner base, I'm gonna think that one over and be consulting a few folk on it as well. Right now, I've got a Memorial to dedicate.

Something's fishy in Denmark, here.

Seems like the grunts weren't paying attention in the briefing!

We are here to convert Sirius to the Coalition way of thought. That's why we don't target civilians.

Now, the SCRA tag, is a problem. They aren't Xenos, but use the tag. It's the closest fit at present, as it has the most hostiles. This is probably the real reason. If there were a Coalition tag, it would be better, but this would require a lot of input for little gain.

The use of a Zoner base just happens to be handy because they are neutral. I guess you gotta suspend disbelief there, really.
