@GC, i think it means that say, NovaPG attacks BSG ( glorieus battle yesterday! we won:yahoo:) means you cant help on the nova side then. but if they where to group with pirates, shooting NPC's is allowed.

I think it means they just cant join them in public, i.e on the forums or obviously in game(like grouped with them all the time). But I believe they could take work from unlawfuls.

As for traders, I always thought they were valid assasination or blockade targets. Are there any clear rules for this or do people just do things and see what happens afterwards...

Well rerading the merc ID, when hired and the target is above lvl30 and moving it is a fair game to kill as long as there is a contract on the hit.
That is what merc?s do they accept jobs that nobody that include goverments do not want to do.

OCC: look at the British Embass/consulate in Afganistan they have merc?s hired to proteckt it.

ICC: So who say that the ingame lawfull clans cant hire Merc?s to help keep a system clean of pirates troublemakers and smugglers, or who else they want to see death.

i say hire a merc for your dirty job we will get it done.

Not sure if neutral's can ever be a target...but then they are limited to fighters and freighters and can't attack anything, hope they are having fun in that shell of theirs.

What if a player that knows he has a target/contrackt on his head, change his tag to a neutral ID and that way he can?t be attacked, is that fair ????

Then everybody can make a havoc with in server and fraction rules and then get a neutral ID and be immune??

or did i miss something in the rules here ??

The only thing that can boost the escort market is lots of pirates in outcast dreadnoughts, screaming, all at the same time to one single trader in a large train:

"Gimme 100 million, or I PWNZOR you!!!!111111!!!!!"

In this way, escorts with bombers will be required.

Any other way = moves to another server. A suggestion is The Void server, which have lots of people playing, and lots of pirates. Lots of pirates = lots of escorts = lots of money.

maby if the pirates get better at hitting what they are aiming at they can stop a trader or even for the most part put up a decent fight :cool:

OCC: I and the rest of JG (exclude the new recuits) come from a PvP server, changed coz we wantet more RP. but sitting in a Battleship and taking down fighters pfffffff.

Lets have pirates in HF and Vhf. and escorts and Merc in HF/Vhf and GB, that will surely make it more fun for all.

Icc: who would like to game on Void when we have Disco. been there tryed it ejecktet it a hole in the internet for noobs.

As you said a boost in the escort marked would be for merc?s to train those pirates prober tactics and prober fighting style to do what they do.
When i have been approced by pirates in my freighter the said pirate or if there are 2 of them stays behind me.:laugh: to learn how to do it when working in pairs contact JG we can teach you for a fair price.
We also offer escort training. PvP training. basic flying training. aiming training. and the serius deals prices will be discussed depending of the job. Althou all contrackts will be postet on our forum, for valid and legal reasons, in a seperate topic line.

I remember quite well, months ago, when I was flying with my hessian in a raven claw, was on Sigma 13 and shooted with four Iron Hammers in a Behemoth. He was very near, right in front of me, and I dont missed any shoot. The codenames dont even dented his shields, maybe only a small bit. And Im speaking about shields, not armor. And this before your Jupiter Guild arrived here, so dont tell me that I need a aiming training from you. You known that is not a question of training.

I never fired at the other 2 ship's due contract specific's.I was hired to kill pirate's(pirate ID) or unlawful's shooting at trader's.You had a pirate ID the other 2 did not, and i did not see them fire at trader's.But i did warn both they would be fired upon if they absucted/threatened any trader's.All in the way the contract is written.No need to waste power on a target i am not paid to shoot.;)or a ship/faction that may hire me at a later date for their side:$

OOC they had faction ID's i was neutral with you had a pirate ID. No offence did not zero you out for any non RP reason's.:cool:
