' Wrote:4v2 is quite un-fairplayish. If you can't see that, then the problem really stems from your part does it not?
Haha ok, if you see it that way I suggest you avoid us.
I have personally gone up against the [LMC] the faction that you are in, once four versus one, and the other time three versus one, but you don't see me crying do you? If I can't win I run, if I feel I have a shot at it I try my best.
But I never start bitching.
If you still end up fighting us... well you can go and cry about it in your chosen Skype chat.
' Wrote:[LMC] wasn't the faction I was talking about, but that's fine. You can go ahead and assume.
No it wasn't but I used it as an example to explain a situation which is relevant to your "problem".
Don't try to play with words here pal. It ain't gonna get you far.
Anyways, enough of this now, you got nothing constructive to tell other than complaining about a four-versus-two fight then I really need to ask you to stop posting here.
How about you teach some of the newer guys what "fairplay" even means? It was a 'somewhat' even fight at 3v2 at the beginning. One of those three being Hessler, which, being in RHA myself is a major B to go against so I knew him well. I can stand those odds, that's fine. It's a little tipsy, but i'll deal with it. It's when another one jumps in, basically yells "Oh you need HALP!??! FUR RHEINLAND" and starts shooting. That one bugged the crap outta me. It. Really. Did. The odds were already in your favor, 2 RHA and an SCRA (Who was fairly good himself, I might add). Then another RHA rides along and jumps right in. Really? Come on.
You are discussing very trivial things here and I can assure you that Blodo, the Faction leader isn't really bothered about this situation you are speaking of. It is entirely within the context of the rules, the Role-Play and even sportsmanship. You on the other hand seem to be incapable of accepting a defeat when handed to you so you wish to vent out your feelings here. But sorry to inform you that such thing won't work around here.
As for the Role-Play of our newer members, that is entirely another aspect and we will deal with it the best way we can. Please provide screen-shots of said events if you wish us to take your complaint seriously regarding this specific matter, or are you just making a hyperbole of your situation to further justify your complaint regarding this so-called "gank"?
However you really need to stop believing in a four-versus-two situation being anything but normal. Drop it.
This happens everywhere. Inside every Faction, inside every group. The RHA aren't unique in this. I have been dealt with the same way against the RM, against the Outcasts, against the Corsairs, against the Krugers, against the Daumanns...
If I wanted I could sit here and complain at all these Factions that gave "unfair" odds against me during battle, but I can retreat, I can call for back-up and I can improve my individual skills to make the situation a bit more to my odds. There are other ways to deal with it rather than just sitting hear screaming like a baby.
Man-up dude, practice, train and improve. Accept defeats. We all lose sometimes. Don't demand the odds to be on your side at every instance. We all have challenges to overcome.
I gotta say, 4v2 really doesn't seem like an issue. While normally I don't really agree with Zeltak and all, this doesn't seem like a problem if they were all similar types of ships. If it was 4 gunboats against 2 fighters, that's rather excessive, but 4v2 fighters seems in the real of ok.
Guys. Be civil please. Now Timo you know as well as I do that the situation in Omega-7 can change within seconds. RM or mercs usually come in large numbers too, and suddenly the RHA is outnumbered. It happens. The system is small, bases are close to each other, if you're faced with overwhelming odds then run away. That's what we do when we come around to see a mess of mercs, or a RM battleship with full escort next to Freistadt.
Remember, it's a game. Not all fights are fair, but there are ways to make that work for you.
twice in the last week the sairs and the RHA have met, and each time i was last man standing; against those odds 'picked up my brother pilots and ran'. Was very impressed by fair play attitude... good stuff.
