Alright, but kindly do me a favor and not make a habit of it unless said miner keeps it up, and even then, please dont. I'm not even going to get into how annoyed i am by hogasha in tau 23, but, whatever.

Please do get into it, I'm curious why you think we shouldn't be able to operate there. After all, that's exactly what this thread is for.

It strikes me that from what i've heard about the hogasha, open piracy is not your standard Modus operandi, and Tau 23 has always felt much more of a border worlds system then a system where organized house crime comes to pirate ore which it cant even sell in it's own house...

If the IMG was mining something that kusari bought, then it'd make more sense, but at this point you would appear to be supplying rheinland with niobium, not furthering kusari's "Intrests".

I'm sure you have a perfectly good defense for my argument, but it just feels wrong considering that every piracy I've seen the hogasha pull off has been filled with rightous pro kusari banter.

We get rich off of it by passing it off to Samura. They pay the Hogosha to do nasty things to Kishiro or assorted foreigners (Synth is just enough of a threat that they have the entire FA devoted to it), and while yes, the start and stop points aren't in Kusari territory they're very close (Tau-23 is only 50k and two and a half lanes from Kabukicho) and the transports who come through can be rather... rude (in character or out of it, it's pretty easy to distinguish). We'd be stealing from the transports as they marched through to teach them respect and make us piles of cash anyway, but if we can get the lesson in respect done outside of Kusari territory- and better yet, away from prying eyes- then all the better. Not like we're going very far to do it, after all (like I said before, 50k and 2.5 lanes from Kabukicho).

The ore gets to Rheinland one way or another. That part we couldn't care less about. They're outsiders, even if their outsiders the Emperor is somewhat fond of. The taking of ore by Samura, however, means that Samura gets the transport fee (quite a hefty fee at that) rather than some random disrespectful gaijin- and that is something that they pay us for.

Basically, it's Samura cutting in on the river of money that flows straight through Kusari, using the Hogosha to get their share for them. The transportation is done by Samura, as the Hogosha appear to be repninja'd hostile to Rheinland.

EDIT: I think I should mention that you are correct, blatant piracy is not the Hogosha way. Not in Kusari, anyway. But Tau-23 is not Kusari. We don't need to hide our operations there, as there is no one to hold us accountable for our actions. In Kusari proper we are a bit more careful about taking ore from transports- especially if the KNF or KSP are around.

Don't forget too that every credit we make stays in Kusari. It doesn't matter who we sell it to, if we sell it to Samura, Rheinland, Liberty, or even back to the IMG. It makes no difference what so ever. The money earned from that stays in Kusari. We pay our people, who are Kusari citizens, which creates jobs (legitimate or not) that put food on their table.

From now on all Hogosha feedback will go in this thread. Everything related to both the Black Dragon Society and the Yakuza.

Thanks for your input.

I hope you guys won't mind me having you stomped like every other miner-pirate in T23 whenever I see you.

Seeing as you don't claim you're any different in essence...

So far, only great interactions with you guys. This counts for both groups, the BDS and the Yakuza, keep the good work up!

And another big thumbs up for the Yakuza, the first meetings with you always ended in a fight. This attitude is gone which is makes it more enjoyable to meet one of you.

I played with you a while 2 days ago. You do it right and I am happy that there are more hogoshian players.
And Jansen I am pretty sure that we confiscate 1000 Gold from Inari 2 or 3 days ago..
