Entry #50: Lost foreigners

Kusari was a little wild today, found a Liberty Security Force pilot almost immediately after undocking from Planet New Tokyo. Seemed he was violently attacking Kusari patrols, and was taking some hits himself.

I threatened him and he seemed most than happy to vacate Kusari,

Zoey.Sakura: LSF aren't welcome here...
ElekTeK: i can see that myself
Zoey.Sakura: You're lost, this is Kusari
Zoey.Sakura: Get out, or you'll get hurt
Zoey.Sakura: Alright, that's your chance gone, no one attacks my people
ElekTeK: i will leave
Zoey.Sakura: Good
Zoey.Sakura: Next time I won't be nice enough to tell you to leave
ElekTeK: ok
ElekTeK: thank you

Once that was over, I patrolled about Kusari. With the increased operations of the Yakuza, It's been quiet out, no one really dares step out of line. Dragon and Chrysanthemum attacks have been down lately.

In Kyushu, I encountered a Freelance Sabre, his transponder displayed 'Outcast', but he seemed not to possess any other connection to them.

I demanded a small tax, and let him know he wasn't too welcome,

Henrik.Drum: What is with this crazy place?
Zoey.Sakura: This is Kusari, and you should probably leave
Henrik.Drum: Moment while I take care of the fleas.
Zoey.Sakura: Unwise, those are my friends, and family
Zoey.Sakura: Perhaps you should pay my reasonable tax
Zoey.Sakura: Before I kick you out
Zoey.Sakura: 1,000,000... if you please
Zoey.Sakura: That or you enjoy Neutron
Henrik.Drum: You..... fraulein.... talk weird... and.. I am not paying you anything.
Zoey.Sakura: Good, I was hoping for a fight
Zoey.Sakura: Run, or shoot, choose now
Henrik.Drum: Presistant
Henrik.Drum: Shoot then

We fought, he had good aim, must have been from a Military background or a similar service. He put up a good fight, although he seemed spooked when I dropped a mine awfully close to my own ship when he charged me,

Henrik.Drum: You crazy!
Zoey.Sakura: True
Zoey.Sakura: Say... you like drinking at all?
Henrik.Drum: What?
Zoey.Sakura: Do you like drinking, you know, bars?
Henrik.Drum: Isn't this a ...
Henrik.Drum: strange question for such a situation?
Zoey.Sakura: Perhaps, depends what Normal is, to compare to this
Zoey.Sakura: To determine that it's strange

Zoey.Sakura: So, you gonna answer the question?
Henrik.Drum: So... basically you.... first threaten me.. then shoot me and now... aks me for a drink?
Zoey.Sakura: No, I just asked if you ked/ drinking, I was about to ask you if you'd be interested in drinking with me
Henrik.Drum: That's... something new coming from a Fraulein who nukes her targets by ramming them.
Zoey.Sakura: Well, are you going to attempt to understand my logic, or are you going to buy a girl a drink?
Henrik.Drum: First off... I do not trust you one bit. Second you'll most likely try to kill me... again.
Zoey.Sakura: This is Kusari, my home
Zoey.Sakura: Forgive me for being a little over protective
Zoey.Sakura: Freeport Six is just around the corner, we can go there
Zoey.Sakura: Promise I won't try to kill you again
Henrik.Drum: Alright, give me one good reason why I shouldn't just toast you here?
Zoey.Sakura: Because I'm sweet, and I have the Yakuza, AFA and KNF on speeddial
Henrik.Drum: Charmed.... almost.
Henrik.Drum: Hmpf... I'll agree to this on one condition

Henrik.Drum: You'll be paying.

We headed to Freeport Six, and infact, that's where I'm writing this entry from. I'll write again soon, here's to hoping he doesn't try to shoot me.

Entry #51: Talking with Henrik on Freeport Six

Date: 16th July 818A.S.

That didn't go too badly... I mean, he's cold, real cold. Like, he takes no fun in life. Everything is all selfish business, he was just distant mostly. Interesting to talk to, someone so different from me, gives me a new outlook on life. I swear, he was like my polar opposite, so cold, and serious.

Henrik.Drum: *Sets down the sabre, powers down the engines and opens the cockpit *
Henrik.Drum: * Checks his side-arms before jumping out *
Zoey.Sakura: *Climbs out of her Black Dragon and tugs off her flight helmet* "..stupid thing..."
Henrik.Drum: * Takes off the helmet. He looks like man near his late 30s, with slim face, his skin is almost white *
Henrik.Drum: * His long hair falls down touching his shoulders as he takes the helmet off, what catches every one's attention is the color of his eyes which are dark purple *
Henrik.Drum: * Looks around with suspicion *
Henrik.Drum: What a terrible interior.
Zoey.Sakura: *Zoey identifies the Sabre by it's guns, stolling over to the pilot*
Zoey.Sakura: *Her complexion is a mix of Kusari and something else, perhaps Bretonian*
Henrik.Drum: * Looks at the woman with a hand behind his back ready to take out his gun from the holster *
Zoey.Sakura: Woah, relax, this is neutral turf, I couldn't care less who you are /here/
Henrik.Drum: One can never be too careful. * he replies with a cold tone *
Zoey.Sakura: Serious one, aren't you? I like that, I'm Zoey, it's nice to meet you
Henrik.Drum: The first impression was a lot different.
Henrik.Drum: IF I remember right, you were the trigger happy about seeing me.
Zoey.Sakura: You were in my home, boasting an Outcast transponder
Zoey.Sakura: I'm always so aggressive, my apolagies
Henrik.Drum: * Still keeps his distance, carefuly thinking over the situation* Maybe if you think first and shoot later?
Henrik.Drum: Do I look like an outcast to you?
Zoey.Sakura: Not on second thoughts, I was suspitous
Zoey.Sakura: And besides, I offered a fairly reasonable tax
Zoey.Sakura: Considering I usually just kill trespassers

Henrik.Drum: Except I wasn't very cooperative with the whole ''dying'' part.
Zoey.Sakura: *Zoey doesn't seem too bothered or threatened, relaxed at the surroundings*

Zoey.Sakura: Plus, your accent is nice, if you don't mind me saying
Henrik.Drum: Keep the compliments to yourself.

Henrik.Drum: No, first hand over your weapons.
Zoey.Sakura: I didn't bring one, this is a Freeport, there are enough people around to supply me with one should I need it
Henrik.Drum: And you expect me to believe that?
Henrik.Drum: So far you didn't give me any reasons to trust you Fraulein.
Zoey.Sakura: Well you're welcome to frisk me, I didn't know you were so keen to get to know me like that *smiles a little playfully*
Henrik.Drum: * grins * Insolent little....
Henrik.Drum: Fine.. lead the way.

Zoey.Sakura: *Zoey bows slightly, then wanders off in the direction of the bar, smiling an nodding to various strangers as she passes*
Zoey.Sakura: So if you don't mind me asking, what were you doing in Kusari?
Henrik.Drum: I was looking for a certain person * follows her closely *
Henrik.Drum: * His expression still remeans overbearing and cold *
Zoey.Sakura: Certain lady, perhaps?
Henrik.Drum: Not your business.
Zoey.Sakura: *Zoey is unsure if the man is even the type for companionship*

Zoey.Sakura: *They arrive at the bar, which is relitively quiet* Here it is, what are you having?
Henrik.Drum: Nothing. * He walks away and sits on a free table waiting for Zoey to order her refreshment *
Zoey.Sakura: *Zoey orders a small glass of a strange purple cocktail* Suit yourself
Zoey.Sakura: So I presume you're from Rheinland, from your accent
Henrik.Drum: Correct.
Zoey.Sakura: The name was kind of a giveaway to, if it's even your real name.
Zoey.Sakura: So you're a Mercenary or what?
Henrik.Drum: A Freelancer... most likely.
Zoey.Sakura: You're awfully cautious for a simple Freelancer, you ex-Military or something?
Zoey.Sakura: You sure know how to shoot straight...
Henrik.Drum: * He replies with short and quick asnwers, clearly not interested in the conversation * The military.... that was long ago.

Henrik.Drum: That would be pointless now would it?

Henrik.Drum: It is cheap trick, but I am curious how will this end.

Henrik.Drum: And you decided to have chat with me.. * snaps his fingers * just like that.

Henrik.Drum: * he taps on the table and keeps observing the bar. The endless paranoia won't leave him *

Henrik.Drum: Am fine without them.

Henrik.Drum: * Grins the moment he hears her last words *

Henrik.Drum: You're very close of getting a second smile on your throat. My life is perfectly fine the way it is.

Henrik.Drum: *frowns and remains silent*
Zoey.Sakura: So you don't want to talk about work, and you're not interested in not working, so all in all, you're a pretty bad match for me

Henrik.Drum: I have other things on my mind.
Zoey.Sakura: Of course
Henrik.Drum: and to be honest I still don't trust you one bit.

Henrik.Drum: You work hard to be accepted among others. You want to earn your place.
Zoey.Sakura: Yes, the unachievable goal
Zoey.Sakura: I wish to meet the Emperor in person some day, but my half-Bretonian blood and gender make that impossible
Henrik.Drum: Why do you want to prove yourself, when it's so unachievable?

Zoey.Sakura: The Farmers and Hogosha won't have me
Zoey.Sakura: I mostly trained myself, studied myself

Henrik.Drum: No you're not, you're limited and bond to your home.

Zoey.Sakura: All I care for is Kusari, and keeping it safe
Henrik.Drum: Only an idiot would say that, like Kusari helps you.

Henrik.Drum: Unlike you I quickly learned to adapt and leave that wretched propaganda.

I undocked to answer an emergency call I picked up, Blood Dragons attacking allied ships right outside Planet New Tokyo.

I engaged and soon enough the pathetic gunboat fell,

Some civilian pest got a little too close, so I accidently dispatched him. Whoops.

Another Farmer fighter arrived but didn't last long at all, falling pretty swiftly to their guns, and superior numbers.

The Kokuryu tried hard to stay afloat, but three Dragon Katanas brought it down in flames inches from the safety of Planet New Tokyo, and the cowards then decided to flee...

I evaded, waiting for backup, as I was outnumbered three to one.

I spent some good time this morning in Leeds, assisting the Kusari Naval Forces around Stokes Mining Station. All was quiet until some Bowex was foolish enough to arrive at Stokes.

Zoey:Sakura: Hold still
Zoey:Sakura: You're Bowex
Zoey:Sakura: So that means you're also really unlucky
Zoey:Sakura: Better hand over some of that cash you're earning
Zoey:Sakura: 500,000 should be enough
Zoey:Sakura: Or I could kill you

Zoey:Sakura: Wire it to me, now

So not much else happened, until I arrived in Kusari. An Outcast Destroyer was rumoured to be about, though I never found it.

At the Kyushu Gate in New Tokyo, I stumbled into an Interspace Trader full of fresh Nukes,

A-Man: OF COURSE
Zoey:Sakura: Pricy cargo...
A-Man: I wait for such a prominent member of the AFA
Zoey:Sakura: I'd say your life is worth 1,500,000 wouldn't you?
A-Man: sorry , of the gaian movement
A-Man: I think you'Re right , Miss Sakura, but I fear , my boss wouldn't agree
A-Man: so what shall I do?
Zoey:Sakura: Well I could shoot him instead
Zoey:Sakura: Though I'd rather shoot you, so perhaps such insurace could pursuade me otherwise
A-Man: I'd appreciate that, but unfortunately he isn't here
Zoey:Sakura: Perhaps 1,000,000 is a fairer price
Zoey:Sakura: For a man with so much to lose
A-Man: what's about a discount of 10 Percent?

So I let him have a discount, cause I was feeling nice, and he still payed me in full. I guess he was feeling nice too!

Entry #54: Growing up?

So I guess it's time I closed this diary then... not sure why I began writing it to begin with, but with my recent career changes, I've had to change alot.

Sakura Kai, of the Kusari State Police paid me a visit... she made me an offer, and I chose to take her up on it.

She told me that signing up for the KSP was the right thing to do, that I couldn't continue with my current operations in Kusari if I wanted to stay out of trouble. So I signed up.
I guess I'll keep records of this diary... or maybe enter my thoughts on occasion. Everyone has to grow up someday...
