Thank you for the report, Mr Trevena. I'll have it forwarded to the DO's office, so we can revoke all docking permissions. I'll let the BAF and BPA know too, just to be on the safe side. It's been a trying week, with the Reavers and other assorted gutter-scum all stepping up their attacks. We've made a good comeback, however, destroying 'Shortbus' and evading many of the others. Lets hope we can beat these cretins into submission, ey?

Peace be upon ye all...
This is Traniee McCullen reportin' in here. I've successfully retrofitted the Cuthbert for materials and passenger transport. My blessings go out to the fine Service employees at Scarbourough. As of now, the Cuthbert is fully equipt and operational, and ready to begin trading. I decided to christen my ship by bringin' a deck-full of refugees off of Leeds to New London. I have t' say, the conditions of the camp they arrived to wasn't much better than where they came from. If corperate could push something through t' make their accomidations better, they would certainly be doin' the good Lord's work. My bessings also go out to the capitan of the BES - Cook; Thank you kindly for showin' me and my crew the back-doors of the Taus. I think I have most of th' rouits mapped out by now, and should be able to slip in and out of where I'm needed.
Fly Safe...

Hello there, father! Some of the camps on New London are indeed squalid - the sudden onrush of refugees rather overwhelmed the local Crown authorities, you see. To be sure, Bowex does make periodic donations to the wellfare of the New London camps (outside that already deducted by the Crown through taxes and levies of course), but they are not our primary priority. Bowex administers its own refugee camps on the Port Jackson peninsular, in the Omega 49 system.
We oversee the entirety of operations there, as a designated colonial overseer of the Bretonian government. Due to this, this is where the majority of our humanitarian funds are located. As well as refugees, the colony appreciates building materials, such as Hull Panels. OF COURSE, from what I've heard from Mr Bellock, you already know about Port Jackson. I will give you a travel advisory on this, however.
Do not attempt to transport passengers to Port Jackson unless you have an escort, or are extremely confident of a lack of enemy patrols. The Corsairs in the region are deadly, and will not think twice about murdering as many refugees as they can sink their talons into. We will not let that happen.

Good Morning,
Just finished a trade run hauling gold ore to Detriot Munitions and Luxury Consumer Goods back to New London. I had to make a qiuck stop at Barrier Gate Station in Coronado. Where I came across by a nasty little critter called Maja, who was piloting a Havok MkII Bomber. It started out all very well and polite. She/He even offered an escort, which I politely declined. The Nelson headed back into Cortez and she took the trade lane to the Manchester Jump Gate, as did I. She/He then ejected from the trade lane early and disrupted it. Which was rather rude. He/She that I should have accepted her/his offer of an escort, pfft, as if! She/He proceeded to open fire after my refusing all attemps to communicate and with luck on my side and incompetence on Maja's, I managed to make it to the Machester Jump Gate as the Nelson's gunnery crew did a fine job of keeping the persistent eejit off my tail. I headed through the Jump Gate and quickly docked with Kingston Border Station and giving Maja a quick cheerio as she/he came through far, far too late.
After getting repaired to tip top shape by the BPA chaps on Kingston, the Nelson continued to New London, where a rather nice bloke called IC|Toyokawa inquired as to whether I was in good health. I offloaded my cargo and settled down for a nice cuppa. I must remark that my gunnery crew are eager to meet Maja and give his little bomber a good thrashing!
*Guncam was damaged in the fight with Maja, if I get the neural net address of that cretin, I'll be sending the bill for repairs!.
*I see Captain Trevena has also had a run-in with this scoundrel, well, nice to see her/his incompetence is consistent. Good Luck to ExSec in dealing with it.

Today, myself and Mr Bellock decided to don the doctor's gloves and penetrate Kusari where they least expected it! During our examination, we found a Hogsha-shaped tumour that had to be cut out poste haste! If we'd left it, it could have gone malignant, doncha know? In any case, we took the usual route through the Taus, from Leeds. The battleship Nagasaki may cause lesser men to balk in fear, but Mart and I have guts in such quantities as to make a mockery of nature's intentions for lesser men. Prunes and fibre live in fear of our intestinal fortitude!
Fearlessly blazing through the Tau blockades, we swept aside those who would waylay us, eventually losing them in Tau 29. From there, we proceeded into Kusari proper, once again dodging yet more ineffectual patrols from the Battleship Nagumo. We lost them in the nearby nebula, with the assistance of some roving Golden Chrysanthemums, who helpfully attacked the KNF patrols and scraped them off of us. Despite their fearsome reputation, the Chrysanthemums are rather nice chapettes, when you get to know them.
As we travelled through the system, I began to feel claustrophobic - we could hear the radio chatter of passing natives (in the short space of time before they noticed us and consequently made an issue of our presence). This chatter was hardly comprehensible, and somewhat reminded me of a monkey I'd once seen at a New London zoo; it would jabber meaninglessly at passing guests, in the hope that they would give it peanuts. Unfortunately I had neither peanuts, nor the inclination to feed them to the local Samura and Kishiro pilots.
Our main point of interest occurred in the New Tokyo system. Just as I was about to jump to Honshu, a Hogsha transport appeared, travelling in the opposite direction! I called Mart over, and together we demanded it drop all its cargo. We would have requested it sing a silly song, and defame the Emperor too, but it elected to wordlessly engage its thrusters in a bid to escape. We weren't going to stand for such rude conversational manners, so we gunned for it. Eventually, with considerable cunning, Mart succeeded in dropping a nuclear mine on its bridge, scattering the [|]Purotekuta and its foul cargo of Corsair Artifacts to the solar winds.
Image: The Leeson (Peterson) and Fenning (Bellock - not in
picture) give the Hogsha a lesson in foreign policy.
After that, we seemed to have rather aggravated all the local forces, seeing as a [KNF] fighter appeared. Deciding we'd best scarper, we jolly well vanished into Chiba Field, where the QCP had previously told us a convenient jump hole was located. True to their word, there it was, and we jumped to Honshu (without unexpected rains of Hogsha this time!). At this point, we dug in our spurs and urged our noble steeds forward, travelling as fast as our engines would allow us. As a precaution, we dropped the trade lanes behind us. Eventually we reached Okinawa and pulled in with the local GMG. We lay low there for a period, launching almost an hour later, after a refreshing session of luncheon.
We were told by a GMG paramilitary officer that a large force of KNF - and even Farmers Alliance vessels - followed us into the system a short while later. Well, they weren't there when we left for the return trip! With a few minor variations, we took the same route home. Aside from a near-miss with a Kusari destroyer's missile, my return was uneventful. Once more we blasted through the Tau blockade, and sauntered home victorious. That's another 1,080 units of fuel for our Leeds depot.
Which reminds me, you chaps really need to step your game up. Op. SQUEEGEE is going well, but your Supervisors and Managers are still holding the lead. You fellows need to get out there and raise some trouble! Remember, fuel comes home, the wreckage of Kusari shipping stays out there! Bring back the fuel, lads!

Subject: The Brigade's Report
To whom it may concern in Bowex ExSec Division; This is a report of the Brigade, requires attention from Brigadiers and may require attention from ExSec.
Today was an interesting day to say the least. After we were attacked in Okinawa following our otherwise successful charge into Kusarian space, we emerged from our somewhat stowed-away camp inside that cylindrical gassy-venty thing at Fujisawa. You know, that thingy.
Anywho, we made the charge back into Bretonian space. Though we paused to try and find some fodder for the day, we were unable to and so pushed on. Making fools of the Kusarian Battleship commanders that failed to effectively fire on us, no doubt distracted by their common laziness and focus on anime and manga, we got through to Leeds without problem.
It was soon after that we spotted a Rheinland Gunboat identified as BDM|U-101. We spotted it and chased it to Magellan with our fleet of 2 Clydesdale and a Roc. Fearful, he fled despite our requests he return to where he belongs. The pirate tried to justify his presence in Leeds with claims he was "enforcing the Rheinland-Libertonian embargo".
We recommend ExSec advises the Bowex Administration to advise the Police to advise the Armed Forces to advise the Bretonian Government to advise the Rheinland Government to advise the Rheinland Military to advise the BDM to: *Takes a breath*
Protect the embargo from back in the Omegas where they should, and keep their Military forces out of Bretonian space unless they have authorised escort present.
I don't see the Military in Okinawa protecting the embargo from there, so there's no reason they should be here. Regardless, the BDM vessel fled, terrified of our freight ships. Pursuing it (as he'd fled in the direction opposite to what we wanted) we came across forces of the CCCP| froggies, and a HellFire pilot. Within moments, the HellFire and CCCP| pilots allied against us and pursued our pursuit.
I broke off and disrupted them, only to be instantaneously fired upon. The frogs, apparently crazed with an amphibian's hormonal rage, fired on everything, including the HellFire pilot. Having angered us all and the BDM out of reach for us to take out our frustration on, we promptly eliminated the Gallic fighter and gunboat.
The HellFire pilot moved on and for her assistance we were happy to let her.
We returned to Leeds safely and unperturbed.
What an interesting day. Well, that's all. Now, sod off and get back to work.

Right chaps, look lively. As you have probably noticed, your InfoNet load-up screen has changed when you log in to write your reports. This is intentional, seeing as management is trying out a new look. There's some new official guidelines for report submission, and similar. There's also a rather interesting feature called a 'news feed'.
I had a bit of a grumble about that when I first heard about it, because really, who wants to hear what the Director had for breakfast, or about how he's having a good time at the pub? Turns out this news feed is used in the more literal sense of the word, and doesn't pertain to the meaninglessness drivel many of the Neural-Net's peons feel is important.
Keep an eye on it, and it'll keep you posted on important events. For the entire backlog of recent news articles, you can also have a look here. All rather convenient for you, ey? I say you've all got it too easy. Back when I was a lad, we had to fight off wolves just for the privilege of being able to watch someone else read a newspaper!
@Mr Trevena: I was there for the incident in question, so the debacle was very much noted by ExSec. The compiled chatlog and pictorial evidence of the Bosche butcher and galling Gallics has been dispatched to the Admiralty and war cabinet. It's all in their hands now, thank goodness.

We now have access to Golden Chrysanthemum bases as a forward staging post. This means you can rest and refuel there for a time, or use it as a staging point for hooking up with local Chrysanthemum forces. You must register your ship with the dockmaster, to prevent misunderstandings. They're not exactly an above-board organisation, so this may require bribery or favours. Usually they'll ask you to chase away the State Police scouts that occasionally poke around the system. I don't want any of our ships getting shot up by allied forces because you lot refused to do some basic paperwork. Now, some ground rules for working on Chrysanthemum stations:
When moving around on the station, 'OxyLung' safety equipment must be worn at all times. Each tank will give you 5 hours of normal breathing, or about 6 of shallow. Replace the supply well before it runs out.
You may not spend more than 5 hours a week aboard any Chrysanthemum stations without an 'OxyLung'.
Should you be required to sleep or otherwise spend a prolonged amount of time on a Chrysanthemum station, sleep in your ship. It uses its own atmospheric system, so it is safe.
Our hosts are to be treated with the utmost respect and courtesy. If I hear of any sexism, abrasiveness or other discord between my staff and the Sisterhood, I'll have you transferred to cleaning septic tanks so fast, you won't know what's hit you until you smell it.
Cardimine is freely availible on the station. Youare not to use any of it, in any quantity. It is a highly illegal and dangerous substance. Those who have served on Chrysanthemum bases will be subject to random blood and urine tests (more so than normal). Failing one will have severe repercussions.
Always use protection.
That out the way, have fun working with our new friends. Our lack of support within Kusari has been a rather sore sticking point of our operations, so this should go some way as to alleviating this problem. I am hoping that being on good terms with the Chrysanthemums will also open the door to contact with the Blood Dragons. Oh, and before I forget, I have some goodies for you chaps. I took down a Hogsha and Samura transport. The Samura most generously donated a load of Military Vehicles to the MacDuff.
I want to see more of you lazy buggers in kusari, understand?
~Peterson.
