Comm ID: Pedro Maniaco Subject: Brother Joe Costello has become an Elder of the Brotherhood
Brothers,
as you know we have lots of new members now. They need our guidance and help when they equip their new ships, work on their reputations and start flying with Brotherhood.
I spoke to current Elders and we decided to accept Joe Costello among the Elders. From now on, he has access to the Bank and is authorised to transfer startup bonus and other equipment to any brother who asks for it.
The welcome spree will take place in the Boozer's Lounge tonight, everyone is invited (the bill will be paid by Elder Farquar)...

It is indeed a great day that a brother makes the ascension to an Elder, through hard work, dedication and level-headedness. And of course it will go on Elder Farquar's tab...that way I don't have to pay, like last time...
Congratulations Joe, and thats all there is to say:D.

Regarding the houses and their so-called military forces, they will only be used to train those in the Brotherhood who are less proficient in certain types of combat such as gunboat tactics, fighter tactics and bomber strategies. Every other time they will be slain without mercy.
Be mindful though, that these military pilots are of sub-standard quality, and as such a victory against them should not be treated as a full victory, but rather an inevitability.
The other faction pilots, such as those of the NovaPG and Impaler, are pilots from the higher echelons of the tiers of skill. The IND also posses skillful fighter pilots, albeit no match for us. Still, be wary of these pilots, for they are well versed in all kinds of tactical maneuvers.
I must say im very proud to be given this position, i will carry on with the work of the other elders to make the brotherhood the best faction around, if anyone needs help thay can contact me ingame or other channels (pm), ill be around.
Corsair blood runs through my vains, and one day soon i foresee the slaughter of all those people that stand in our way.
On another note, it seems theres a new infestation of those molly scum in Dublin, .:UOG:.? thay seem very active there, i say we show them with force that this is our space too, lets not let them get to comfy in there big ships?
If this is authorized i would like to lead an attack on Dublin in the Velasco and take 2 Gunboats and a few fighters to send them this message in person.
Brothers i have arrived back at Crete, after a long diplomatic mission to Endenburg. It seems alot has happened in my absence. A big congratulatins to Elder Joe Costello. Congrats
((OOC: You now can (but dont have to) put Elder in frunt of your name like i have Elder.Alexander[TBH]))

Today is a good day, we sent a message to the SF that will not long be forgotten, with the help of the SCRA and an independent Corsair Pilot flying a Corsair gunboat.
When we arrived a passing trader gave away our presence in Cambridge, so once we arrived close to the planet there where already around 3 bomber/fighters and the battleship.
We concentrated all firepower on the BS and it was taken out quite quickly, then we moved on to getting rid of the rest of the SF, which we did in the end, i dont think we lost any ships in the battle but i could be wrong.
All in all, its been a great day for the Corsairs and its allies!
Another victory for the combined might of the Brotherhood and the SCRA. This time it was the AW, HF and an Impaler.
The incident started as an SCRA bomber supported by a fighter encountered an AW gunboat. The Mantis moved to assist and forced the target to retreat in cruise a number of times. Finally, the Mantis Cruise distruptors hit home, and the target was sent to the void (or shipyards, whichever one suits the situation).
The AW fighter Orome arrived just in time to see the timely demise of the Gunboat, and he was engaged. However, he proved a harder target to hit, with the gunnery crew of the Mantis having problems targetting, due to the asteroids being in the most inopportune places.
The new SCRA battleship, whose name I cannot pronounce, arrived on scene just in time to repulse the large force of HF (and badly trained) reinforcements which jumped in. The Silverfire perished quickly and the annoying Impaler was next.
A HF nomad gunboat (!!) fell quickly; as he tried to escape, he hit my cruise distruptor. The hammer met the anvil as his ship was torn apart by the combined force of our ships.
The remaining AW fighter, who was nothing more than a flea during the fight, retreated when he saw the inferiority of his allies.
In an unrelated incident, the Mantis was badly injured by two sso| gunboats. The SCRA were unable to provide adequate fire support as their battleship had docked, and the Mantis was quickly overwhelmed. Despite this, the crew are in high spirits due to the utter failure of the HF and AW to inflict any damage. They had to rely on bounty hunters to do it.
Currently a drinking party on the Mantis as it is being towed to Tripoli. Decks 1 through 4 are decompressed, but they were uninhabited as battle stations was announced. The command deck has suffered minor damage but the gunboat should be operable withing a few days.

Brothers,
it's obvious we need more cash as we rise too quickly now. Therefore I decided it's about time to sell some of the most valuable alien artifacts from the safe of our bank. For two or three weeks, I'll be travelling incognito throught the space controlled by other houses seeking for an appropriate buyer. I have some contacts so my mission should be successful.
After I return I need you be fully trained and prepared as there is a great smuggling event ahead of us. We have a lot of enemies and it won't be an easy task to deliver the artifacts to our buyer.
First of all, Brother Maniaco, I have had my sources working hard to gather money, and a healthy sum of money should be very soon to suplement your gains in the weeks that you are gone. Good luck Pedro, and say high to Rick Deckard if you see him...heh.
Battle report time:
The UOG were sighted in force in Dublin. Myself and (very skilled pilot) Alfonso went to engage them. My bomber, which was readied in case of capital ships being present, proved to be more of a fighter killer, taking out both of the UOG fighters without much trouble. They were left with gaping holes in their Werewolves. However, their cruiser proved to be more of a challenge.
As I was charging the cruiser, giving it a taste of my nice pulse cannons, I had a massive weapons failure. The mines around Arranmore seem to be doing their job, as my armament was quickly severed from its sockets. Essentially, I became a flying target. Once the cruiser realised this, he turned on Alfonso and I with renewed force, and won the day for the UOG. We were forced to retreat, left in bad condition by the mines and subsequent cruiser fire.
I must admit, I underestimated the mines in the area greatly. Next time, I will take care to lure them out of their fortified citadel.

ooc: Great fight, I must say Puck has really turned the faction around. Good job mate, I hope to have more balanced and fair fights like that in the future:D.

Greetings Brothers, this is Raul Yanez, new proud member of The Brotherhood.
If you are interested in my story, then please read the text I included below.
Quote:Name: Raul Diego Yanez
Age: 22 (OOC: not real age)
Bio: Raul is not someone who you would call powerful or skilled. As a child the children laughed at him for his lack of skill and power in fights. The poor child had no friends, the boys laughed at him and the girls ignored him. He became a man 4 years ago only with extreme luck, because even the Nomads didn't see a serious danger in him. Atfer this experience he wondered if he is already that weak that everybody ignore him. As he flew near Crete around, he saw one of the members of The Brotherhood. The pride, power and skill of those Pilots impressed him in a way he thought he never would feel. He thought joining The Brotherhood could be great to find some new friends and to prove everybody that he is skilled and powerful, and that his only weakness is mercy.
I hope I will have a very enjoyable time as a brother of you and that we will have many victorious fights together.
