Before the maintenance restart about 22:50 PDT (log time minus about 30 minutes), lag was fairly heavy for at least me and two other people I had contact with tonight. I'm fairly certain the whole server was seeing it at times.
I haven't been on since the maintenance, though. Just thought I'd let you know.
Edit: I don't think there were more than about 30 people on during this.
Not sure what changed but yesterday (Sunday afternoon) all was well, some intermittant lag, server traffic was about 35 ppl. Then later that night came back server traffic was about 30 ppl and was getting constant yellow/red. Before anyone goes and says it is your end (mine), I did verify with my bud Troll and he was getting same stuff. We both live in the NW USA and have high end connections, normally run around 150-180 ping on server. Since this started are running 250+ and sadly the mod is virtually un-playable now for us. Even after a server reset problem remained. After reset server was running with about 20 ppl and made no difference. Just went on alittle while ago with 45+ ppl and was getting the red/yellow, with npc darting all over the screen. We dont run chat programs or anything out of the ordinary in the background either, not downloading stuff etc etc. It is definitely a connect to the server issue for us.
Well, unfortunately I am having the similar problems when it comes to big fleet battles say when 15-20 ppl involve in it. Mostly the ping seems to be around 150-250 while connecting to the server yet when it comes to big battles, I oftenly red lag from the beginning to the end. The yellow lag rarely occurs while mostly the red lag ruins my gameplay making it a real pain and annoyance. (cant even use bots or bats in some battles) I really do not know why it happens, maybe about my location, maybe my ISP or maybe 1 Mbit connection speed aint enough to unlag here? Ah.. time to upgrade connection speed
(If you find any mistake in my English, please let me know via a PM)
(Really, I speak terrible English, so please, tell me if I make mistakes. I'd like to improve it a bit )
Hello! I'm using a 1024/256 connection too and it seems a bit more laggy these last few days...
Can you give some DNS names or IPs of servers which are located close to the game server (e.g. same country/same state/same city) so I can test my ping on them to determine if the problem is me or not?

The problem might be the connection between you and the server.
Are you running P2P programs?
Server load rarely goes over 150.
Well, after the recent lag issues I prefer to close msn or skype while I am in game and I dont use any other p2p or download programs yet the lag still occurs. Its probably because of as you have said, the connection between me and the server itself, though the place I live aint that much far away from the host server location. Last week the pıng was around 130-150 for me. What could be the problem with the connection between me and the server? Or maybe should I better ask this to my ISP? (I am using Windows XP Home edition without any packs)
