Quote:in all seriousness - i find that hard to believe. that is one of the most fugliest 'you gonna get raped' cover ever
But it's true... i was young back then and had a crappy comp. It barely could manage this game at full details.
And ok i have to admit i read the contains at the back of that CD case and i liked that.:D
Fishlabs Galaxy on Fire http://www.fishlabs.net/en/galaxy-on-fire/:laugh:i played first time this kinda game on my mobile phone, i liked it that much, so i decided to find something similar for my pc... after that i found Freelancer... and here i am
I found the demo and played it over and over again. I was annoyed at how it ended after you hit level 2, so I decided to buy it. One of my best purchases ever.
My step- brother came up to me and asked :
"Do you like space games ?"
"Yeh"
He gave me the game, I didn't like it much as I started out, I didn't know what the hell was going on in SP when the Rhienland Cruiser got pew pewed by the Order, but then as the story went on, I became addicted.
Saw the game cheap 99pence in a shop a few years ago. Though erm a space game.
After playing it I had just got so enticed by it. Bigger battles as time went, was an engoyable whilst continualy challenging. Especially Tekagi's Arch, found it the most emotional part of the game. And the most scarey. The turning point of Single player I say. After which was fast paced action after action.
Made me fall in love with the LSF and Blood Dragons too.
I believe this game was in Officemax for 10 dollars or something. It was an act of fate which brought me this game. And as for the Discovery mod. What brought me here. This was my first mod to ever play Freelancer online. And I will never regret it. I've tryed many other mods out without going online when I tryed this one it was love at first site sense then this is the only one I will ever play till I die.
