I am actually not an Angel but I helped a new players that was flying with a wrong ID. I explained to him how to fix his reputation as to get an ID that fits with his character objective. I also told him that each House has its laws, especially regarding trades (restricted commodities). Finally I showed him a profitable route (but he was shut down by some unlawful NPCs due to his reputation). He was cool so I gave him around 3 millions of credits as to buy a better ship and fix his rep.
I think his name was uprising or something like that.
Pulled a short shift... mostly quiet. only got asked for help once in the hour I was on... Was about the tech chart...

Here I am. Yes, i haven't quite rotted away just yet. I still got an eye and an arm to fly with so i may aswell use them. I've had my fill of corsairs so i'm heading back to Pennsylvania as I speak. So all you Libertonians load up your questions and aim cos i'm heading your way.

Hung out at Manhatten for a while as a foreign customer helpline, kudos to ~PI~Alex.Prinkerton for showing the angel spirit and helping out. Headed out to texas then to oversee a dragged out conflict between rheinland and liberty vessels which amounted to pretty much nothing. The duration i spent broadcasting some ultimate soul tunes to spread the love from Huntsville, can't beat marvin gaye. From then on I headed over to what seemed like a pretty rock that turned out to be Chisos. So after we got introduced I set up camp and chilled out for a while. Mostly questions about angels, preferences and being shot at from the people.
Bumped into Angels Wolf and Luis towards the end of my shift. Always nice to meet the team:)
Pulled a nice hour or so shift, with Luis. Few questions, but one which made me think alot: "What's the difference between Freelancer ID, and a Smuggler" Not much when I thought about it, but Wiki provided to be useful.
Apart form that and the massive swarm of people asking and trying to RP with my bubble shield.. it was a nice night, to chill out and help a few peeps.
Yet again i'm back to spread the love. You'l find me in Texas at this particular point in time, me and Chisos are just hangin. I'l be happy to take your call if you got any problems.

Shift was cut short, kind of an emergency call. Ah well, reality calls.
Spent a little time yesterday watching a big fight in Tau 23... mounted myself on Java (looked cool like it raised it's shield for the fight)...
Answered quite a few questions while I watched the fight.

You guys need more order. your faction is to help newbies not steal from them. Now i have been on this server for almost a year and the very little of you i see none are helping out newbies they are getting newbies to mine for them then they steal there cash. also for some reason i only see you guys in Tau-23 for some reason their are no newbies there. i suggest you establish zones for your members and to set a cut off rank for people you help say level 30. Don't get me wrong you guys help me when i was new but today you guys don't seem to be around.
Maybe some "useful" information, like who was getting who to mine, who was stealing...
I get on the server regularly, and most of my help is almost exclusively via PM from people in systems like New Berlin, Alpha, New London... so it doesn't matter WHERE I am physically in game.
If an angel has done something bad you can PM Bear, or n00bl3t about it and it'll be dealt with, coming here and making accusations of wrong doing is more just to stir the pot. Please send Bear and/or n00bl3t a PM with your evidence.
Thanks

We have a Faction Leader and everyone else structure. It has worked for quite a long time. What failure do you see with this structure?
Or perhaps you see some failure with the conduct of The Angels, as highlighted by the rest of your post?
If you have any evidence of an Angel "stealing" credits or getting new players to mine for them and not returning full profits, then forward it to me, Bear or the Administrators.
We have zoned Angels for keeping the peace in trouble areas. Omicron Gamma, Omicron Alpha, Omicron Minor, Omicron Delta, New York, Dublin and Tau 23. These are hotspots. A lot of trouble happens, and the Angels help by clarifying rules and basically keeping the place in-RP as possible.
We do not set a cut-off rank because we aim to help everyone. We are not going to be biased in helping people, especially in terms of advice. Credits yes, but advice no.
We each have lives and other characters. Although, I admit some people's activity is constantly changing. Right now it is in a lull as it is school and university examination periods, and 4.86 has been delayed. We endeavour to be as active as possible, but other commitments do come first. So yes, we do try and will continue to try.
