This math is very cool, but did you try to mount a couple of Tizonas on a Marsflyer, or avoid counting Tizonas for Sabre? Then results would be much more... representative. Don't you think?
No one forces you to leave initial weapons on Marsflyer.
And thanks for counting, I'm too lazy to compare ships the way you've done.
Well..... A Marsflyer is coolest with all the original guns on it. :(
And Tizonas are visible, so there would be two weird guns sticking out of the stem.
As for making a Saber with no Tizonas... That's just stupid. There is no better choice for the two class 9 mounts. That means you can't put 6 codenames. :(
Maybe it's worth to make Tizona a level 10 gun, or make two versions of it, one level 9 less powerful than now and second level 10 more powerful. Or just make Marsflyer's weapons deal more damage against shields.

I remember being in a mod that that had it (i dont know if it was the original or not) but you could destroy a BS in 2 rounds of fire.
I left that place because it later got boring to just spray a bit in space (about 1 sec with your finger on the mouse) just to wipeout an entire fleet before they even moved.
Been here since Discovery 4.77 (lurk mode engaged)

He flies through half the system before going back to New Berlin, where he cruises from one side of the system to the other, hugging the sun as close as he can. All the while, he flies near Battleships trying to scrape me off. I finally send out the white flag, and move back to Sigma 13. However, it was a ruse, and he bit. Knowing his trade route, I interdicted the trade lane and the chase began anew. It ended, an hour after it began, with me retreating, out of Countermeasures and getting very irritated.
He kept boasting how he has never been caught; I'd like to see him beat until he begs to pay, then beaten some more.

You don't mention that the Flyer runs out of energy very quickly, making it even worse. It's difficult to make comparisons like this as the powerplant makes a big difference.
Role-played characters:
daedalus - Liberty Navy
bandersnatch - Ruthless criminal possessed by a (huge) alien
Shredder - Small-time Kusari pirate, looking to join the Blood Dragons
"Bounty Hunters. We don't need that scum." - Admiral Piett
Either change the damage or power. Upgrading both will make it into a super fighter again. Also the Manuverability is better than an eagle so you might want to cut that down a bit if your increasing the damage output. Also in my fight against Virus' Marsflyer we did a couple head to heads and almost every time I lost more shielding than he did. Increase hull damage but not shield damage.
Dab, you you strafed, maybe you wouldn't get hit with a straight line of chain gun fire. I didn't notice that.
And deadalus is right, he Marsflyer does lose energy rather quickly for them being chain guns.
Hmm..... Maybe there would be a way to make a hole in the Marsflyer so the torpedo could mount in there.... I dunno.
Making the Marsflyer powerful, but lowered agility would mean people would put the guns on other ships. Hmm....
I don't know what to do. I was thinking a little more shield damage and a torp would even it with other fighters, but the torp mount would be visible. Maybe you could make the new launchers invisible on all ships. Is that even possible? If so, I don't think anyone would mind.
I have a question, how was it made so on the RH bomber the torp launchers are invisible? Maybe the same tactic could be used to hide a torp mount on a Marsflyer. That's all I think it needs.
And as I've said before, make it a mini-battleship people will simply strip it for parts.
