Why all the gallia hate? Is everyone afraid to try something new? The only problems with Gallia I think is that its locked and empty making it pointless, but thats a problem with the handling of it, not gallia itself.

Yes exactly! if instead of spending time and data making new systems, the devs could make the current ones realistic, that would be very cool.

It would be nice if we had a 3d mapping system someting like a cube. And I do agree with the player wipe that would be fun!! IF you deleted the extra system around the lib/rinland backdoor areas, and opened gallia up with an trade lane instead of a minefield people might go there more. I enjoyed mapping that area but it was a pain in the aruse to get to.
So many systems, mostly everyone goes for Liberty (Check server statistics - people docked in NY ~ 2400, docked people in any other system - less then 1000), things are like a food chain (You need a miner/trader to attract a pirate that will attract a cop, navy, bounty hunter).
So yeah, finding fun in the unused systems is quite... hard.
My problem is not with the system number but with the way the systems are. Most have bases, planets... and thats all. No anomalies no irregularities, nothing to discover much.
In the new version me and Yuri tried to add something new to an already existing one. I only wish that each system or at least some had the same feeling so that people would go out and discover.
There are already so many empty and useless systems, no one ever visits expect for wreck looting (if there are any)
I concur: Stop adding systems, change old ones.
discounting guard systems, there are a few trade-laneless systems that need content.
but i view them as desolate wastes, that a lone ranger has to cross before hitting the oases of civilisation. the population of this world is not evenly spread. why should it be so on disco?
