Your stuff is amazing. Absolutely top-notch, professional quality work. We're planning on implementing at least a few of them into the Broken Bonds mod. You'll definately be getting a place in the credits. Thanks for putting those out there.
' Wrote:I can't say I'm too familiar with this game. I've never played it but I've seen a bunch of models made by fans. If i remember right, it's got a gothic style / feel to it and I don't exactly like that. If you've got some concept art pics of the base you mentioned (those pics you provided don't tell me too much:)) I'll have a look and let you know if I will take on the project.
Oh, I didn't mean that specific ship. I was just trying to get the concept of loads of ships all fused together to make a sort of station across to you with some pictures. Seemed easier than explaining it. :)
But I was thinking of a station using lot of really old-style transports all fused and welded together to make a single hull. Ships would still have to be identifiable as separate entities though - so... Imagine a really large transport or an asteroid being used as a centre piece, with smaller craft jutting out the sides. Maybe only portions of the ships would be visible, like the occasional landing bay, or engine, or bridge section or something.
I was thinking more ships though, like someone's dumped a wrecker's yard into space. Sorry to sound so picky... That is a really awesome model there though. :)
I believe I know what you want however for that I'd need quite a few textured ships in OBJ / 3DS format and I don't have them. And I do not want to use vanilla ships cause after all these years I can't stand looking at them:D
I didn't had time to work on this one as much as I wanted but ... anyway, here it is, a new planetary base.
You can edit this one extensively: you can easily move / add / remove the landing pads, the building or the trees. You can also edit the background image and add whatever image you like, it can be with a space theme, or a forest, or a futuristic city or whatever you like.
Here's a very quick model for you just before I go to sleep. I just saw something like this in a pic I found with "google images" so I decided I'd make my own. Maybe someone will find a use for it.
