In fact, that could be done by just removing the base in conn. You see, when you use that /conn thing, you go there, and when you die, you got back to the last base you visited. Simple.
But yeah, teleporting abuse that'd be worse than f1.
And yea, i don't like connecticut anyway. I don't go there and i would certainly not be nice about some big stupid dread getting into system and yelling //-static about going to conn all over the comms. Going to conn, eh? Eat a SNAC.
And the whole thing about "practicing" there is a bit stupid. Serious training happens only when everybody knows their role and behaves, and when there are no other people around. That's why guard system exist. And if you want to practice some ships you don't have, set up your own damn server for it and try it there. It's not hard, and it won't lag. And if you want to practice in random pew-pewing - do in inRP, for god's sake, really, server's a bit empty even without connfests. And if you really want to just pew-pew people there - dock a ship there dedicated to conn.
Oh and /conn command could eat money, too. One teleport - one million.
Make the /conn command destroy all your cargo.
And make characters that use it unable to exit Conn for one hour. That way, no insta-teleport for trading or shortcutting purposes.
' Wrote:People could exchange slaves for cardamine there and vice-versa. Simply no cargo or unmounted equipment can be warped with the ship to prevent deals like that

im alll for a conn command, but if it destroys cargo, it would destroy bots and bats too. you need ONE base in there for resupply of ordinance.
even if we disable ship to ship tradin in conn, there nothing stopping people from jettisonning their cargos out in space. solution - pop them out into a mine field similar to dublins, with the invisible mines. as soon as they eject cargo, it goes booooooooooooooom. they'll soon stop conn powertrading

No need for destroying cargo. You can take as much cargo as you like to Connecticut. If the only way out was sundiving and respawning nothing would get out anyway.

Only problem that comes to my mind concerning that idea that it should be somehow made sure that bastillers can't just jump to conn and have fun there while they are supposed to be punished
