Jack, leave malfina alone. She has all her right to do so. Some others like me might not show anger to BMM as direcly as her but rest asssured her action are for the good side. Malfina is as important if not more important then most of sirius for me. If she seem hostile to you, then its for her safety and the good of Sirus.
The accusation you made on me are very touching me. However I will not believe something I have not done under normal ''condition''. And I don't think it really happened anyway... I think your vessel just rammed some asteroid away in space. Beside if I really wanted to kill you, woul'dnt I just try to kill you as fast as possible?
----------------
Malfina, I know you might not undertand that easely, but please please believe me. I just need that extra time to find a leak in the bretonian ''system''. We are increasing our realtion with bretonain bretonian corporation outside BMM, were lying to BAF but they are udner control, gaian and molly never has been in as good realtion as ever. We are that close to do ''the thing''.
Guild mates, understand I have other critical thing to think about as well. The ''other me'' , the reaver defense, some omega 7 mess, the order possible disscovery of my anomaly and of course Mme Korzic deeds.
First let me reply to mr. Lecalve.
You have set up some new equipment, thats a good advancement, I hope so for the good of the guild.
I have to say I am quite Impressed the division granted you in command of one of those very limited vessel.
As for the repair system you build, well we still got to test the device under simulation. The place where such a test would occur is most likely going to be the tau 39 restricted space around the rechearch facilities there.
You see, I have one key question to you captain, how will you use these two vessels and devices involved? If you were to endanger crews and been guilty of great equipment loss I would be quite suspicious. I do want to trust you.
Dear Ian,
The first mission of "Maxiplar" is to defend Java and our miners in Tau23. It can be moved sometimes - if you or Jack Henderson ask for it - to another location where its presence may be needed.
The repair ship will be moved to Tau39 as you ordered for further tests.
The Goal of this automated repair is to assist our Caps and/or Fighters during fights against overwhelming forces. Since Outcasts use one when they strike us, giving us no chance, it appeared usefull to have this unit at our disposal.
The second task would be to feed miners under attack by pirates with Nanos and Batts, allowing them to dock at Java safe.
Well, gentlemen and women. Some interesting things are going on around our bases, seemingly. I had thought Dublin would be a little more serene for us after we started active cooperation with the Molly mining efforts. And now a Kusari agent decides to throw this all into disarray? And doing so under Guild flag? I've taken the liberty to disable ms. Korsic's access to the guildcomms.
Mr. Henderson, you are cleared to apprehend this Kusari agent and turn her over to the Bretonian authorities. Enlist Bretonian aid if need be, I suspect the Bretonian intelligence service will be highly interested in capturing a Kusari agent. The Guild needs to drive a point home to Kusari it seems, that neutrality must come from both ends. First the continuous Hogosha provocations and their open cooperation with the Corsairs, and now this. Enough is enough.
And of course we'll stay in Dublin. Push come to shove we'll have to restrict mining operations to the Arranmore field for a while. I doubt the Armed Forces would act against us based on the actions of a single person, they've got bigger fish to fry in northern Leeds. More likely they'll demand this person to be brought before a Bretonian court - A BPA matter. BMM is another story though, be on the lookout for any mercenaries behaving suspiciously, especially the Mandelorian. That would be how I'd retaliate, were I in their position.
NLH will take time. Reavers are a better alternative, although I get the feeling the Mollies won't exactly be pleased to see us working with them.
Mr. Desari. You seem to have a lot going on with you at present. Perhaps it would be best if you take a leave of absence from Guild service, to focus on your personal problems. Especially those of a medical nature. I will not order you to do so - but I would strongly recommend it. Perhaps a visit to the Cambridge research facility would be beneficial to you. I still know a few of the folks there, they might be able to help you out.
Mr. Lecalve, it's good to see a few support craft up and running. Should a repair vessel be spotted actively supporting an enemy fleet (by supplying repair nanobots and shield batteries to the enemy fleet), you are cleared to engage and destroy it by any means neccesary - including capital ship engagements. It is not a violation to do so if the repair transport is actively assisting an engagement. Combat repair craft are not there in a civilian capacity and are thus exempt from civilian law. Naturally, the same goes for your own vessel, so take this into consideration when you use it. These repair ships are intended to assist light capital vessels such as cruisers, or resupply vessels that pull back from the front. They are not meant to be in a firefight themselves.
As for your initial request to brand the new Argus to IMG|Jade: I'm afraid we'll need to deny that. The Guild keeps it's direct capital fleet to a minimum, for practical reasons. You are free to name her as you see fit, without the IMG| prefix.
Miss Schuster. I concur with your assessment of the Nomad threat. If the Nomads thus far have remained passive to our mining operations, I see no reason to take action to incite them. The primary task of the Defense branch is the safety of our Guild members - let the Order and the Bountyhunters go after the Nomads instead. These aliens are not our concern, until they prove otherwise. I'm not sure what Order thinks it's doing in the upper Taus of late - I suspect they're launching out of Freeport 6 or 10, or those ICMG carriers in Orkney. To my knowledge, your own informal contact with one of them was the most we've ever had.
Should Order vessels ever demand assistance, kindly inform them they hold no rank over you. We have no standing agreements with the Order.

1. Message to Ian Desari
Ian, do as the Director said! Take a leave, sort things out. Go to Cambridge. I've told you before but you seem not to realize that you are wrong in so many points. I know what I've seen. I know what I've heard. If you are with Melfina in her acting against Bretonia, the IMG must see a danger in you as they see a danger in Melfina.
We MUST stay neutral. At all costs. If we take sides, we will fail. We will lose either the Bretonian part (Dublin) or the Kusari parts (T23). Our already long and difficult connecting routes between the Taus and the Omegas would be disrupted completely.
This is what you risk, Ian, by taking her side. You are cleverer than that!
2. Message to Johnathan Sanders:
Thank you for giving me the permission to do what needs to be done. I completely share your view on what is best for the Guild. Dublin will remain a place for the IMG to be, especially after the recent success. I'll be contacting the BPA and make sure the necessary steps are taken, so that the relation between BAF, BPA and IMG are not damaged.
3. Corsair battle yesterday (Dublin time 2200, 2.2.11)
A large battle occurred directly at Hood yesterday. 2 Corsair Battleships escorted by 15 Corsair fighter craft attacked Dublin and overran any resistance that the system had to offer. BAF, Freelancer and IMG vessels were pinned down at Hood, unable to move.
A counterattack was staged against the Corsairs when the protective wing of the Convoy-Group surpise attacked, but it was no use and the losses were high. Numerous vessels were lost, mine too. I have more reports of a Hydra that was shredded. More damage must be assumed, but I don't know for sure.
The Hood was not attacked directly because her guns were very capable of keeping the enemy warships away. Only minor shield damage was recorded during the battle. The enemy warships seemed to be optimised for anti-fighter work, which they performed with awesome efficiency.
Consequences from the engagement:
We must station bombers at Hood. Neither BAF nor BPA nor we had capacities to harm the enemy warships efficiently.
Request the premission for the deployment of an IMG capital vessel. BAF personel yesterday seemed inclined to accept it.
Fighter pilots, stay away from the Corsair Solaris battleships. It's murderous.
Start an Dublin emergency channel, so that we can alert our allies. We had no way of contacting the Molly bomber wings in Arry and so BAF decided to call on Outcasts help.
Improve the relations with Bretonian authorities. Fighting a common enemy together is proof of us not being guilty in the slaughter of BMM.

A very short report about today:
1. 4 new Bombers in Dublin
2 Pythos and 2 Rocs are now stationed at the Hood. I welcome all the new bomber pilots to the Hood. If you need anything, tell me. I hope that with the additional forces we can teach the Corsairs or pirates or Freelancers some lessons next time, especially when they swagger in with their big ships.
The BMM miner Minerzizzya opened fire at me without provocation. He also shot an Outcast Gunboat that was operating with BAF forces. I attacked him, since this was the second incident and I had eyewitnesses. I almost killed the miner but BAF interrupted. They collected evidence and I'm rather sure he will face consequences.
Later on I was contacted by a BMM director in the field and was assured that this will never happen again. We can shhot this one miner if he does it again. He is very much willing to try to keep the status quo, so only a "cold war", no "shooting war". I assured him, that we won't overreact and keep thing professional.
Minerzizzya was shot to pieces some 10 minutes later by an unidentified NLH bomber that retreated after causing more havoc in BMM ranks at the scene.
3. Operation "Cleansweep Dublin"
Ms. Alice Etherington, one of the new Roc Bomber pilots, arrived and after a short introduction into the peculiarities of Dublin, we started a patrol. During that patrol we ran into 6 targets worth shooting, which we killed. To be honest, Ms. Etherignton killed 5 of them - all VHF or Bombers - with Snac hits to the hull. The last kill (a Corsair gunboat) is the only one where I can say that I did more than to keep the shields down.
I think today people realized that IMG| means business. It's a good sign that we could send out after yesterday's massacre at the Hood.

Mr. Henderson, excellent work in allocating bombers to Hood to mitigate capital threats. And crack-shot pilots too? I'm also quite please with this BMM miner attacking us - I hope you took some evidence of that as well. If there's going to be a fallout on Melfina's wanton acts of violence we can point to this incident and simply say that these things come from both sides. Wonderful!
As for your request to allocate a capital vessel to Hood - this is already in the works. I am waiting for a reply from the Bretonian authorities, but frankly, if these attacks persist, the Armed Forces will force our hand. Hood's more then capable of warding off the odd fighter and bomber, but multiple warships is another story. We'll end up sending a Zephyr in an unofficial capacity, to keep a low profile. I doubt the Armed Forces will mind us saving their collective hides if the Corsairs beat them back to Hood.

Dear Trader, dear IMG| Escort Staff,
I also received word that there was a blockade at different points in Kusari space that were keeping T23 Niobium haulers - especially Bretonian ones restricted to the Omega-route - from doing what they do for the Guild: hauling our ore.
Let me show you a simple answer to things that we can't change:
Pay a scout (or take the small risk of jumping without a scout) from T23 to T31 via the BMM jumpgate. There is hardly ever any KNF patrol there.
Then move to the Edinburgh Jumphole via Harris and the Battleship Macduff. The smuggler path is pretty safe and far away from Kusari patrols.
From Edinburgh move to the Bretonian controlled part of Leeds by gate.
Possible threats for Bretonian transports:
Edinburgh: Gaians. Call on Gaian-experienced IMG escorts (all Dublin escorts count) to avoid this. We are very much accustomed to dealing with the Gaians and solutions can always be found. Your cargo will not be harmed.
I've done this route often, no real danger if IMG| is close, to sum it up.
Feel free to contact me if you need escort. I can point you to Edinburgh-experienced pilots, if I can't do it.
Jack Henderson, IMG Defence Wing, Dublin, Hood.

Right. So I be done blowing some outcast ore thief out of the sky after he tried to rip off Kurt (damn, sniffer Prison Liners make a big orange cloud when they blow) and I spot a rather large Omicroner fleet trodding to Orkney. Curious, I followed (subsequently delayed by a few outcast rookies with heavy weapons - but a BHG cruiser spoiled their fun). Seems the Council lads be making some sort of heavy weapons purchase from the Zoners. Not sure what to make of this, if anything. It's odd to see Omicroners in the Taus. And for Council to be trying out Sirian tech on their warships, also odd. Didn't thought the tech was compatible. Anyway, I had a nice chat with the fellas afterwards, they want to talk to the Colonials too. Expect a few of them around Java from time to time. Riding out an ion storm on Reunion base now. They're good folk I think. Their wine definately is.

Mr. Alco, it is indeed unusual for Kusari forces to totally blockade the Leeds/Tau passage - usually they only scan for contraband goods. But if they have a large offensive going which they don't want the Bretonians to be forwarned about I can imagine they could temporarily close off that passage. It's a war out there, that we're inconvenienced from time to time is a given. If this happens, use either the Tau 31 to Edinburgh jumphole as an alternate, or the jumphole to Newcastle. Both of those are best done with narrow ships, large vessels like the Hegemon will get stuck in the icefields. If you feel the blockade to be unlawful, then file a complaint with the Kusari authorities, but I doubt you'll get very far with that.

Good morning, my fellow IMG,
I need to tell you something and I might need your help in this. It's nothing tragic, so relax.
It's about mending a wayward girl's ways, yes, this is what I said. You will probably meet a pretty young girl that could be the daughter of some of us in the Hood corridors. Her name is Anna McCarthy, blonde, seventeen, you will recognise her without further description.
Let's say, her life has taken some nasty turns, it is still a mess. To give you an idea: she did some time in a Bretonian correction facility, teamed up with Roger's Rocs afterwards, broke with them and was found stranded in Dublin.
As some of you you know, I can't leave people behind if I see that they need help I can offer. She reminded me of someone I could not save from taking the fall.
So this is what I did:
Gave her a room on Hood to stop her from loitering in her ship.
Employed her (on a personal basis up to now) for Security Services. She is capable of performing well in her Sabre Merc. I used her for mining field protection and convoy escorts.
I'm trying to structure a normal life for her, that is: give her life a purpose and her energy a sensible direction.
We worked on her reputations with Bretionian Authorities (thank you to the helpers!) by cleaning Bretonian space of scum for the BAF. She isn't shot at now by everybody. Still, some work must be done.
I talked to the IAB about Ms. McCarthy and they agreed to let me do this if I "keep her on a short leash". Their words, and I'm sticking to it.
Okay, this is what has happened.
Now I might need your help a bit:
If you have a job, give it to her. It can be small things, nevermind. Keep her busy, enrich her life with normality. You can pay her smaller rates than normal because she will be paid by me on a daily basis as long as she keeps out of trouble.
If you see her do something bad, let me know. I have given the IAB my word and I'm not a fool enough to believe that you can mend a wayward life by providing a job and a bed.
If you meet her on Hood, be nice. She is new, she is insecure and tries to downplay that by acting as if she were in control of things.
If she asks for help (I'm encouraging this to get her back into a normal society), please help. I'll foot these small bills, just tell me about it
Last thing: keep me informed on how she performs in her new job.
Yeah, you see... I seem to be a magnet for troubled personalities. But I've made up my mind and I'm not looking the other way when I see a person in need.
