Remember to lock your front door before you go away from your home.
You'd wish.
Eh, little early for that don't you think Fletcher? .86 alone is taking a gazillion years to make, let alone .87.
Quote:If Bretonia falls, Gallia would move onto Liberty. The reason for their invasion is the suspected betrayal by the other colonies - in particular Liberty and Bretonia.
This is also the reason why I suspect Liberty would militarily intervene before Bretonia falls - it knows it'd be next.
The current story is : We're going to these houses to overthrow their corrupt governments and integrate them into the kingdom/Empire of Gallia. They're all too busy with wars to tend after their own people, I mean look at Leeds! All filthy and such, poor working conditions, the lot. Let us overthrow your government and improve your lives! Making roleplay deals with the Junker and ALG to clean up Leeds in the future, such things.
Main targets will be hostile militaries, not civilians and corporations. Only the once that attempt to do us harm (in)directly.
I've read the comments in this thread, and feel that the best would actually be the essential destruction of Bretonia. Why? Some new role-play opportunities, such as collaboration. Of course if anybody even raised a spoon, all Gallics within a fifty metre radius would surrender, so all physical objects would be banned from use.
If the outcome were not dictated by the development team, I would believe the Bretonians would be pushed back, the Gaians would be completely wiped out, the Mollys would be on the losing side of a fight for Dublin with Gallia (so really, no change for them), the Corsairs would make a push for Cambridge and then start fighting a turf war with Gallia. Possibly the Lane Hackers, Outcasts or Liberty Rogues could try to make a push into Manchester.
Just my theory. Thanks for the link Wraga.
[17:45:39] Wolfs Ghost (Murphy): Tom, you have problems. Go kill yourself.
[19:25:12] Johnny (Jam): Tomtom, I will beat you with a spoon.
[14:22:56] Prarabdh Thakur: KILL HIM WITH A SHEEP.
[17:40:48] Eagle (Junes): Tom should be slapped with a spoon.
[11:32:18] Warspite: Thank you for being so awesome Tom. <3
[18:17:36] Metano: I love you tomtom
[20:06:24] Warspite: I will seriously give you epic head.

Quote:Nice discussion. Contrary to popular belief, Gallia wasn't introduced so that it can wipe out a Vanilla house. You can count on Bretonia surviving.
And I agree with that. Being the underdog is fine, but full scale occupation is not fun since you'd be wiping out 3 corporate factions and turning the BAF into a guerilla force.

I think the Corsair reaction to Gallia will depend largely on the legal status of Artefacts within Gallia.
If they aren't outlawed, the Corsairs would have a HUGE trading partner with no need to hide the connections, since they dont give a crap about the opinion of other houses, and is already tenuously allied to two corsair Allies, Kusari and the Gaians.
In addition, the fact that both Gallia and the Corsairs are Outcast neighbors adds a new dimension.
Course, if artefacts are outlawed in Gallia, then screw that, pirate the bloody piss out of the Frenchies.
That and such alliances would completely unbalance the in-rp factions.

Besides. I think the Xenos would have a good old time wrecking part of that invasion fleet. Ricemunchers in Colorado? Not on their watch;)

Xenos aren't that powerful. They aren't a full paramilitary group that has to contend with attacks from the Houses like the Mollys or the Hessians. They're partially tolerated by the Navy.A full Kusari invasion would wipe them out.
Not that the Mollys or Hessians could contend with a full House invasion, but in .86 both of those houses are still fighting wars, soo...

It's all pre-decided.
You can count on the entire Gallic related invasion as being decided already.
For at least .86 and .87
Hopefully that changes once they find out about Das Wilde and Aoi Isejin. I would think nomads infesting humans would creep them out.
And i would think the whole "nearly destroyed all human life in the whole freakin galaxy" would really change their minds too.
