doesnt change the fact that this "new faction" will still need black squadron's permission to purchase cruiser/battlecruiser/battleship vessels in 4.85, and with the reasoning for creating such a faction, that permission will never be granted.

We will see what the next release brings, if cap ships are "faction only" as the selfish here want it will drive people off this server who could add to it. Frankly I find it appalling that the admins and faction leaders are this selfish and petty, but then again, most seem not even old enough to vote.

If you are happy that you made this an exclusive rather than inclusive server, you deserve to be known as another asgard.

Yea, go play on the asgard server and see what giving factions control of the server gets you. It used to be the best RP freelancer server around, see what factions did to it.

You want this server to last as long as it can then don't wizz in the indies cheerios. Drive us off you have a dead server.

Sorry to threadjack your threadjack, Akumabito, but the last time I checked, this thread was about the situation regarding the Bs|'s decrees, not an attempt to garner support for your own personal problems.

Now, I do agree with Turkish and n00bl3t in a very specific way. After reading some of your thoughts, I can definitely see how the faction can "abuse" the powers of ship restriction and etc...

I will also kindly like to inform you all that this game is called Freelancer. It is Free, to an extent. So long as you are functioning within server rules and logical RP rules(no Outcast Corsairs), you're fine to RP what you wish. Everyday, I see people RPing as crazy robots, man eating ships, and drunk precision pin-stampers. To be honest,

The point of the game is for people to have fun. If it comes down to the point where Bs| is punishing players for what they want to RP as, the faction ought to be sanctioned.

I do, however, agree with Bs| that an RP should be posted for their characters. Not just the capships, but every character. I'm aware that this takes time, and I certainly cannot throw the first stone, as many of my chars don't have bios yet.

Regardless, remember the point of the game is to have fun.

The point of the game is for people to have fun.

Not any longer, the point now is to make faction leaders feel like big men at the expense of others.

This isn't my issue, it's theirs. I didn't start this faction vs. indie crap, the factions did when they lumped all indies into the "bad" bin and said "we can have this ship but you can't".

As far as requiring on forum rp, that's crap as well. Why don't you password protect the server and only let players on when they post 122 words of rp that are admin approved and see how long this server lasts.

Fun for all = inclusive server = following the rules and letting people with proper tag/id fly what they want.

faction bullying = exclusive server = faction leaders of factions you never joined telling you what you can fly = everyone going to hamburg city or eve for fun.

make your choice.

I honestly belive in the idea that a player run faction such as BS should make certain demands on the players that wishes to use the factions hardware. Both INRP and OORP, it makes alot of sense, aslong as no one actualyl demands money for allowance, now THAT is just plain wrong.

I belive that any Rper should be able to write a short Rp story and post it, I know it's not hard and some might not think that its nescesary and that just everone could get any ship at any time. Well, I myself dont want to play a Merc that accidently moves the wrong way in front of a BHBC and gets shot down, just because that guy knows its the best faction for PVP and they can buy any ship without reason.

I Mean do you belive that a faction such as the Order should have enough materials (INRP) to actually construct a fleet of Osiris's? Or that just any order pilot could buy one, simply cause they wanted to? No, I dont, I think that the need for regulations when it comes to buying capital class ships will not only lower the Capwhorage but also lower the current views of the Order (this goes for every faction) I mean look at how people see the BH's now adays... PVP, NORP and alot of Caps..

No, no... I dont belive in what your saying Aku, and never will. I myself am a Independant player, ive joined two factions and written stories for all my cap ships, not cause i hadto, because I wanted to show that im serious about the RP.

Im all for the Bs new rules and regulations concerning Capships.

What im not for is the fact that a Independant Order pilot can order other Independants around, I mean no disrespect here Tenacity, just stating my oppinions. If you want to be in charge of something, then join the BS.

When it comes the name of Black Squadron, yes I agree with some that the name isnt showing what you are, according to the name its a squadron.

An air force, army aviation or naval aviation squadron typically consists of three or four flights, with a total of 12 to 24 aircraft, depending on aircraft type and air force.
