Don't forget to drink enough on the flight. Get some light compression stockings as well. Not all dangers to flying are connected to an abrupt stop.

Deep vein thrombosis is generally caused by the poor quality of air on planes, not altitude. Altitude socks don't do much for you except make your ankles look silly. :P

Strange that so many are moving to Israel, and even more people returning to Israel. If you wanted to avoid politics you've chosen poorly on final destination. The entire world's eyes are on Israel. So strange.

I will be spotty at best for a while.

Zelot, still as attractive as ever.

Having just moved from uk to tanzania, i can sympathise a little, but at least you can count your blessings re: power supply, internet connection, roads, hospitals, cos i lucked out on those. however, apart from in a purely personal sense, no-one wants to kill me purely for the crime of utilising oxygen, so, meh, balance to the universe is restored.

have fun, and lose the 'holiday' mentality asap, and you'll settle in faster.



ps, flight socks do work, but unless zelot is over 50, i doubt he needs them.
