"Ahh, yes, yes. You're that little bomber who was being clever, or well at most attempting to be."
Chuckles to self
"Yes, yes."
Chuckles some more
"Ohh boy, by the time you demanded that stupid price of ... seven million credits was it?"
Pauses for a few seconds
"
"Hmm, I do believe it was ... Any how, that's not why im here. I've just dropped in and thought I'd be a 'good old sport' as the Bretonian's say. And say that me and my crew are in 'ship-shape'"
Laughs
The captain almosts switches the communication button off, but stops and stroaks his chin
"Oh yes, one other thing. Never expect that you will ever get away for what you did. Also another thing, by the time we saw you, we started evacuating crew members."
Saying this out of character, and a bit late as well..
Impressed me the other day when you offered to exchange food and credits to the Raiders for getting off the West Point lane. A refreshing change, as in the past I've seen USI acting as sort of a paramilitary unit, and would have rather shot us than talked to us.
Glad to see changes are being made, kudos to those involved, good luck and keep it up:)
Glad to see an update on the USI dossier. I've only had a quick look but here's a few things I got for you. There's a possibility you've already noticed or thought of doing this, but it's worth to tell anyway.
- All the way at the bottom it shows [size=13]Naming Convention:<!--sizec--></span which looks odd of course, probably the file got too large and not all was made to fit, re-constructing some stuff might be a good idea to solve that.
- The USI logo at the top of the dossier might need to be changed. Not only doesn't it really blend in, but compared to the other factions yours looks outdated to say the least.
- The history of USI described in the dossier might need some re-writing. It is good to mention what happens in the faction as of this moment, but maybe it is good to sum things up to make it more easier to read and understand.
Of course the lack of room to actually edit is a big issue, you might need to cut or edit some sections. I've got some suggestions for you to take into consideration.
- Create a AOE (Area of Effect) image to display, other then writing down all the sections of Sirius you operate in under different reasons. It's good to explain and show this information yes, but is it of great importance to show that information in your dossier? Wouldn't a image of the map of Sirius be better? (Example: http://i674.photobucket.com/albums/vv106/L...rted/ku_zoi.jpg) You could always give specifics on your wiki page right?
- Why show all the neutral factions in your diplomacy list? You could make it for instance something like 'Everyone not mentioned elsewhere' and be done with it, saves you a few lines.
That's is all I got for now, keep up the good work lads! :)
EDIT: Just a thought that came up in my head while I was in-game. Won't it be wise for [*USI*] trade ships to have friendlies, mercenaries or Freelancers escort Universal trading ships when their own security personnel is currently unavailable?

First of all thank you for the feedback. I will answer in all the issues you have mentioned.
1) I am aware that it's a lengthy post and it doesn't show the last paragraph. I am working on the reduction of the size.
2) We will discuss it. I share the same opinion with you. We will also soon make a request in the forums in order to have 3 logos for the 3 departments.
3) I agree with that. The History will be re-written, many unimportant parts will be cut and it will contain the most recent developments (even though it may need an update again when 4.86 comes out)
4) I don't like the Area of Effect. For example, we will list Omega-41 which is only used to pass from Omega-5/15 to Omicron Theta. Some people might question why we have such large zone, while we will just use many systems to pass through in other, more friendly ones.
5) I agree. History and Diplomacy will have a major reduction.
6) We have already hired a mercenary company for escorting duties (even though our security department is quite active and rarely our convoys don't have escorts)

Thanks again for the feedback and we hope we will receive some for our in-game behavior as well !
I have long relations with USI. Since more than half a year. They helped me to move my shop's location from Detroit munitions to Norfolk. Was a bit expensive, but their service are worth it.
Also, as i am too lazy to fly around for my shop, they bring me the equipment i need.

Ah, sorry for not noticing this earlier. However my point being there was that I have seen (in-game) USI trade ships without any escorts. Universal Shipping is known for shipping high risk and high value cargo, so maybe some sort of rule inside your faction of trade ships not being allowed to fly around without protection could be a nice idea. It creates a lot of work for all those people looking for work.

No problem at all, I'm a big fan of USI. I enjoy the RP you guys have, and I see growth regularly. I shall keep an eye out if I can criticize any in-game actions, all in good favor of course.
Keep it up, I enjoy every second I spend with USI.
