Like I said, I wasn't there from the very start, I'm glad we understand one another regarding that.
However I do not see where I am complaining on the entire situation, because put bluntly, I'm not. Again, I am not complaining about the entire situation. In fact, I merely responded to what I could call your "feedback regarding the IG's behavior".
As for this part:
' Wrote:How it was from your point of view, or how it was from mine, have no meaning at all in the end, when you draw the "line".
Yes, it does actually have some meaning, provided I understood correctly earlier and it was your intention to avoid misunderstandings which could lead to "bad" situations. Saying that how events looked from one side and how they looked from the other, opposing side, has no meaning is kind of shooting yourself in the foot there, because if we cannot or even outright refuse to understand the other side's perspective, then we will be stuck with our individual viewpoints alone and thusly we will end up causing "bad" situations due to our lack of understanding regarding a given situation.
[color=#FFFFFF]However acquiring the necessary knowledge and understanding is not always possible by observation of ongoing events alone, and thusly we have to resort to conversation and discussion if we want to get anywhere.
Moving on to:
' Wrote:It seems you were the one that called Yamato, so it was you who acted wrong as Imperial Guard and member of the official faction, you claim to be. You 2 destroyers had enough fair chances against the templar and me, but no, you had to act superior as always and show some firepower.
Yes, it was me who called the Yamato. I was acting on the limited knowledge I had at the time. I had no, that means ABSOLUTE ZERO, knowledge of the other Destroyer fighting a lone Templar at that time, which you so far have claimed repeatedly, yet not proven.
[color=#99FF99](I would also like to note and stress that said Destroyer, regardless of what it was or was not doing, WAS NOT a ship of the [KNF] or [KNF-IG].)
My knowledge at the time was what I gathered from observations, namely: -Being shot at by a Dunkirk as soon as I undocked, without even a single word spoken. -Seeing that only an independent Naval Forces Destroyer was present in the area on the Kusari side. -Seeing other hostile Bretonian ships in the area. -After a while seeing more messages of Bretonian and hostile ships logging on the server.
As such I did my job and acted as I saw fit, called in the Yamato, and got the first Dunkirk destroyed, given that I was 100% sure that more hostiles would come, and given that, from what I knew AT THE TIME, the odds have not been fair.
Actually though, you proved me right earlier on the latter when you stated your hostile intentions:
' Wrote:That Indie wanted to lure us in Stokes, and it had to be punished for even attacking a BAF| like that in coldblood.
I, good sir, do not see a Destroyer versus a single Templar (as you claim) being fair either as much as you do.
[color=#FFCCFF]However, just as one Templar vs. one Destroyer isn't fair, a Battleship + a Gunboat + a Templar vs. one Destroyer isn't fair either. And as I've pretty much said earlier, I saw NOTHING in terms of positive fair-play intentions from your side when I showed up there.
I simply only counted who was there: Some Bretonians, one of them a Dunkirk, and one Kusari Destroyer. And then I saw the Dunkirk's guns hammering down on my own ship here and there, which it had started doing right since I bloody undocked, without a single word. Which is np. I've no problem with it. I'm used to those kinds of treatments.
But anyway, like I said, I did my job.
I did my job in a brutally efficient way.
And I kept on doing my job when we chased the Bretonian side to Planet Leeds.
And when the second Dunkirk showed up, I did my job by getting it torn apart before it could hug the stationary Battleship. Well actually, we first lured it away a little and then I called the Yamato down on it, but that's called tactics and common sense.
I saw more and more Bretonian hostiles show up all the time from some point on by the way.
Bombers, more than half a dozen, indies, some Corporate escort ones, I think one or two BAF, some other indies, a Destroyer or two, a GC Bomber, even an Outcast Tridente.
But so you know, once the second Dunkirk was a goner, I called the Yamato off. Told it to go back to Stokes, to dock and log, to gtfo if you want it extra-blunt.
' Wrote:If you were the one that "created" this "event", my point from the first post, the question, remains. Are you going to do this in future? If you cant calclulate the "fairness" I can buy you a calculator. Answer "Yes" or "No". Thank you.
If your question is whether I will or will not respond to a situation in the manner I see fit after assessing the situation to the best of my ability at the time being then the answer's a yes, 'cause regardless of how you put it, that's what I did. I acted on what I knew at the time.
[color=#FFCCFF]And as for this part:
' Wrote:...as Imperial Guard and member of the official faction, you claim to be.
[color=#FFFFFF]On another note, as you seemed keen on talking with faction leaders and higher ranks earlier, you didn't really address McNeo's post, who is the current commanding officer of the [KNF-IG].
Well Joe, thank you for the time. You have provided me with everything necessary. It seems the entire situation observed from the different points of view is totaly different. There is more to be said and a lot more to be kept in silent. So we are gona end this conversation now...
Zelot, I know in RP you are the Emperor of Kusari, so I hope your answer was made in order to be the opposite of what I had expected. Afterall it was Kusari community that reduced the Bretonia community powers with nearly 60% ... so to do this and then , from your words "gank us" , is totaly ... strange. Like "lay down your sword so I can stab you easily"...
Situation soloved.
P.P: I am wondering why you had removed the reaver's post, where he asks me "politely" to GTFO:)

Yeah, it is different. I strongly believe that in order to do our best to ensure that encounters like the one before are enjoyable for both sides it is necessary to take both sides' viewpoints into consideration, because if we don't we will end up with a complete and utter disregard for the respective "other side" which can easily cause bad blood and bad situations that are unnecessary. However the aforementioned isn't always possible in all situations and so less-fun stuff can happen here or there.
[color=#FFCCFF]I myself have, for the most part, only had trips to house Bretonia as a hostile in recent times and I can actually safely say that 99% of those proved to be rather fun and enjoyable. I don't and didn't mean to point fingers or anything earlier, but I think that given the limited knowledge present everyone did their best on their ends, in their respective roles. Regardless of the outcome, I thank you for the discussion and that we could bring this to a close.
FallenKnight, I'll ask you kindly to don't post ever again in this feedback thread. Failing to comply will force me to ask higher powers to accomplish my wish.
Moar activity indeed, the encounter we had tonight was excellent as usual. Usual but rare indeed. You were and you still are my favourite unwelcomed guests in Bretonia, keep it up:)
