I'm playing constantly as well, for some time now, little by little every day.Just got back from that Deep Roads expedition. My Hawke's a Rogue, and it seems i fell for it thinking that it would make my life with chests easier.
But that's not the only problem with it.It's that, although i invested a lot in his rogue stats,it still has a lot of hard time taking down most npcs.
I keep the 2 mages in the party on auto-level-up,and at a fair distance from the battle-core when in an engagement.Must say those 2 mages kill all the enemies faster than Hawke barely kills 1 or 2...which means not much XP for him, sadly.
Ok im so glad there is A DA2 forum here the bio-ware forums are so cramped.
I just need to say that i just got it and.........it disappoints me in so many ways. Is any one eles here worried about the excessive simplification. Like i know simplification can be good but you dont even have armor for party members and it flat out tells you what gear you should use and what needs replacing. The voice protagonist just stops you from creating a character any more complex than nice funny or bastard instead of the complex balance of opinions towards certain groups and situations that was existent in origins. the skip forwards in time while a good idea to gives your actions more impact sounded good on paper but the first time it happened it set the scene asked me to choose a response and THEN tells me WTF is going on. Not to mention that the relationships with important support characters like Aveline and my mother only develops while i am not around. I didnt know why i needed to go on the deep roads expedition until i had already saved up the money. its never explained why low town is bad untill after your mother has a breakdown about it not to mention that the structure of the dialouge trees means that you dont know who is being talked about until the end breaking the imersion because i just talked about a guy for half an hour and i only just fgured out who or why 5 seconds ago!!!!!!!!!!!!
