Been running some shifts here and there. Helped a few people with weapon/ID/IFF combos, tried to talk a Outcast Sorta out of re engaging without RP, failed at that so I just let all the people in Liberty have their fun with it. Showed a few new players the helium field in Penn. Had a question about someones guns not working, didn't know what to tell him and couldn't anything on the forums at the time. Saw something in one of Cannon's posts about him fixing a similar issue so I figure it was the same thing.
Right, all I remember from the first day on the job is that I contacted a newbie, and had a nice chat with him for a good half an hour, made me realise how much I would of liked the help when I was new, helped a few not very new people from the blood dragons with some rp related problems, and directed a newbie towards the Bretonia Armed Forces. I also helped Xaror, an aspiring artificial intelligence, with some AI related RP issues. I think I did some other things but from now on as soon as I do something i'll report straight to here so I don't forget.
A pilot came to me because of an alleged re-engagement. I pointed him to the forum to report the incident. I'm not a lawyer or judge.
Another gentleman ask me about a ship and ID combo. I informed him that his proposed setup didn't pass muster. After giving him an option to go with, I let him know about the tech chart.
Before entering Alaska, another pilot contacted me regarding safe passage to Connecticut. I let him know there is no guarantee of "safe passage" to and from Connecticut.
I met a young trader that needed some guidance. He wasn't making much profit transporting neon. So, I led him on a route between Liberty and Bretonia that nearly doubled his profit per run. He was very grateful.
How do I improve my rep with the LN? This pilot couldn't find any bribes for the Navy. I mentioned he could look for a LPI bribe and do some Navy missions.
Today I pulled around an hour shift? I kind of lost track of the time. It was really. damn. quiet. Because of the... lack of pilots about, I decided to make use of my time and map a few things, mainly in Pennsylvania on my ship for future reference. Also plotted out a few trade routes for when I am asked about this. I ended up restocking my ship with food, water, oxygen, and tobacco - which I ended up smoking..
Started making another ship to keep up Dublin/New London ways, and ended up chatting to an =MMC= guy. And Making sure another players /setmsg command was working the way he wanted it to. Unfortunately, I was then needed elsewhere, so I had to dock and call it a day.

That newbie would be me, I think!
Thanks again for your support, it helped a lot, I really needed a slight push to get me started, now I can hardly stop myself!! Managed to join BAF, and I'm also thinking about joining some other faction too, Junker or perhaps Corsair, depending on they're answers!
Thanks again, and keep up the good work "Angels" !!!
After a 3 hour shift, my fingers are as jello and wrists will be diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome. The doc on Erie will wrap my wounds and kick me out the door. Oh yes, I am an Angel amongst men.
A pilot had a problem with transferring guns between two AI vessels. He was not successful even after my suggestions or explanations.
Another Pilot had trouble with his rep with the IMG after switching IDs from DHC to Republican Shipping and excepting a bribe.
Attempted to help a LN officer flying a battle cruiser with only a LN ID. He understood that a guard ID was required.
A pilot asked me how to join the Phantoms. I let him know that he needed a good background story and RP to get in. Also, told him, that he needed to do a lot of research on the Phantoms as well. I hope he gets in. He seemed determined.
Exilon, poor guy, flew his starflier right by me in NY. He was a new guy just off of Erie in his new little toy. He wasn't lost, but needed some help. I let him know of the /restart commands to get a better ship and rep with specific factions. After a suggestion from me, he restarted as a miner. He had some difficulty at first. So, I created a new miner to show him how it's done.
I helped a concerned pilot who had trouble with a pirate and a re-engagement issues.
A gentleman asked about RP concerning ALG ID used with Bretonia Transport. After some research and discussion, I pointed him to the tech chart.
One guy asked if it was normal to use the mooring points by planets to dock. I said, "Yes, it was completely normal."
I really needed some help out there today. One or two guys fell through the cracks.
I contacted three new players yesterday in Pennsylvania. 2 of the 3 didn't know about the /restart server command. So, I informed them about that option. The 3rd and 1 of the other 2 had a PvP problem with each other. I ended up explaining rules pertaining to PvP engagement. It was somewhat an easier day for me.
I went for a brief spin around Liberty tonight, it was remarkably quiet.
If I didn't know better, I'd suspect someone had duct-taped Pennslyvania.
I helped one person out with a repping issue. (The Xeno Guard Reputation bar wasn't showing up, despite a full regular, run of the mill, Xeno repuation.). I suggested he dock, log in and then log out. Annnnnnnnnnnd that's about where the server crashed.
By the time I logged back on, he was gone. *Dramatic music.*
Hopefully it'll be a little busier next time.
Pulled an 1 hour shift last night. It was pretty easy going. I did get two request for help.
A trader wanted some advice on some trade routes. He already had an adv train. So, I figured this wasn't his first rodeo. I gave him examples of what I do as a trader. That seemed to help him alot.
A pilot told me of his troubles trying to dock at Mactan. I pointed him to FP4 to get a hacker bribe or something similar.
