Their faction is already lore-friendly enough. You'll notice they are official. Which means the admins felt they were within their given lore enough.
You come here demanding they give you access to faction rights and that they change their lore to suit you. Guess what is going to happen? The Legion will simply laugh at you because you have no foundation for your demands or arguments and they have the admin team supporting them.
Go, bring forth all these indy Brigands you claim that support you. Have them profess their devotion to you on these forums. Then you can role play your little faction and work with the Legion (note I said with) and build this Council, then perhaps the Legion might let you have access to those rights. They are in no way obligated to give you access to those rights for any reason at all. Period.
Go role play it out instead of making idiotic claims here. It would give the Legion something to do, it would give other factions in the area stuff to do and it would likely make for an interesting read too.
It's perfectly acceptable for an unofficial faction to challenge the officiality of an existing faction, and you yammer on a whole bunch about this being done the wrong way.
Well you seem to be a little wrong, the LE seem to be a little more interested in giving the Council a shot and avoiding a whole bunch of potential trouble.
You were late, go complain about something else, somewhere else. I simply stated what we are and what we'd be doing, the LE asked me to expand on it, I'm ready for the ingameage baby... yeah!
Instead of the logical reactionary move of creating a Brigand faction based around Igiss's lore, you chose to make one which vehemently opposes the LE in an OORP manner.
Essentially kids being kids, and the usual "Oooohhh it's not in the lore so let's flame it" deal we have here.
Do I like the faction's roleplay background? Absolutely.
Do I think it has anything to do with roleplay? Rofl.

If the LE weren't official, I would have made one that opposes their military-style leadership but ultimately accepts them as Brigands. Ohwait, that's what this is. :/ We oppose them in an RP manner, couldn't care less about the LE's members, I'm sure they're great people.
I've wanted to make either a Maquis or Brigand faction who love anarchy for a while now, and the Maquis was a no for me as it was too much about the Council's ideals and not enough about simply pirating whoever we want and being free.
That's why I decided to make Brigands, and to challenge the LE's change of Brigand lore. The LE can still exist, but the Brigand's as Igiss wrote them don't have to be drowned out.
So I made a faction based upon Igiss's lore, the extreme opposite to the ruthless military efficiency of the LE which I'm not to keen on stealing the spotlight.

You're asking them to alter your roleplay to conform to your interpretation of it? Pot calling the kettle black.
You're not asking them to coexist, you did not talk to them OORPly about this first. You're essentially asking them to either bend over and die or whine repeatedly... (alternatively not give a damn and take it like Spartans, but that's expecting too much from anyone these days).
The people are and will always remain negative about new ideas untill they see them implemented.
Go for it untill people will not have anything abd to say about it.

That quote is almost a year old.
I'm not so sure about now, but I was definately a dick back then.
I'm telling them that they either bring back the old Council of the Elders and give up their total military dictatorship of the Brigands, or they'll face the roleplay concequences of pushing other Brigand groups aside.
I figured this would be a much more interesting RP venture than them funnelling rage at me down the old Skype channels and ultimately going "We'e official so neugh!" that the LE love so much in the face of negative feedback or suggestive comments.
The idea is good. Multiple clans will work well with groups like the Brigands, and friction between groups is a good thing. There are many opportunities here, for both groups, if the apparent personality clashes can be overcome.
The aggressive nature of the posts here is what I don't like to see. I think this could, and should have been handled much more diplomatically. Thankfully it seems to be cooling somewhat now.
To everyone involved in this, please treat your fellow players with a little bit more respect.
All Brigand Tech. All Gallic Civilian Tech.
Permitted use of all Maquis, Council and Union Corse Tech.
I would like an explanation for this, if possible.
Council and Union Corse tech are white to you in the tech chart.
And I just can't find those factions allowing you to use their technology anywhere.
Maquis being able to use Council technology doesn't give them the right to allow someone else to use it, as per rules.
Link please?
Even if they did allow you, are you going to fly Agamas around?
If so, I am completely opposed to this faction, as I see no reason for you to exist.
Whatever you say about +LE+ - at least they are not trying to fly Agamas around and use them for something that Cuirassier is made for.
Sharing technology is dumb, as can be seen on 'Hogosha-AFA-Gaians' relations.
Please use Brigands technology and fly Brigand ships.
Thanks.
EDIT:
Quote:Next on the list is aquiring the blueprints for Borderworlds ships from the Outcasts.
And this just means you want to fly Sabres, right? NO, for the love of god. Stop trying to use other technology.
