After finishing my patrol of the Tradelanes without incident, I travelled from the Magellan jumpgate to Newgate deep-max through the Sheffield South Ice Field. En route, I was surprised to stumble upon an unknown station marked Silent Base in the centre of sector F5. Upon docking with the station using the automatic systems, I found the place to be abandoned. After searching the communication archives, this verdict was confirmed. Exterior Interior

While checking the Salisbury and Newcastle jumpholes, the Lost.Horizon.Escort came up on the TLAGSNET. RTS showed the vessel to be mounted with Battleship-class weapons, which immediately caught my attention. Taking the trade lane to the Sheffield North Ice Field, I found an IMG battleship caught in the asteroids after being discarded from a disrupted trade lane. The captain of the vessel claimed to be headed to Snowdown but, after being told of Bretonia's no-capital-ships policy, was persuaded to return to Magellan and find a route that did not involve Bretonia-claimed systems.

Since all major points of interest had been patrolled, it now seemed a good time to check out Io base. This paid off: with our blockade no longer in place, the shield was down and I was able to dock and take readings of the station. If further action is authorised against this base, I am ready and willing to participate as needed.

A bit of an oddity this one...
Before ending my patrol, I took one last sweep of the trade lanes. At Birmingham Station, a ship came in from the Sheffield trade lane stripped of all equipment other than engines and shields, and seemingly on full auto-pilot during the entire encounter. All a scan could pick up was the name "Deadcat" (I assume from before it was sent out unmanned and unequipped) and the designation "Camera Ship", whatever that means... In the end, I decided it couldn't cause any harm to our citizens so continued onwards.

A fairly simple first patrol, good to get started with in my opinion. Maybe the information gathered on Io can be useful in resolving this situation one way or another.
All navigation, communication and engine systems on the newly requisitioned Hussar are working perfectly - thankfully I didn't have need to test the weapon systems this time...
This is Randall Murphy, a concerned citizen. During my travels recently i have discovered some sort of a construction in the Manchester system.
To be precise it is located near the center of the Sheffield South Ice Field. I am deeply alarmed by this and i believe you should investigate.

This patrol was much more eventful than my first, as would be expected in the Leeds system.
All times are SMT.
Patrol start: 14:50
While patrolling around Stokes, I was contacted by [JB]Castillo regarding (in his words) the "misunderstanding" involving Io base. After apologising, he sent payment of the fine for assault, which was forwarded to HQ as procedure.
Hopefully this will help bring a peaceful conclusion to the negotiations there.
Shortly after this, another long-range communication came in, this time from Gateway)Iron.Bridge regarding an IDF vessel transporting Human Organs through the Cambridge system. I advised the Iron.Bridge to follow at a distance and keep me apprised while en route.
However, I was held up by a Corsair, Toledo.Diaz, who had been disrupting the Planet Leeds - New London jumpgate. Despite repeated warnings, the ship would not leave the system so I was forced to engaged in the interest of public safety. After a lengthy skirmish, I could not do any lasting damage and after taking some myself, I retreated to Planet Leeds for repairs.
Meanwhile, the IDF vessel had engaged the Iron.Bridge, but after being bested in combat, attempted to cloak to no avail. It was destroyed, with the pilot's escape pod and cargo submitted to Newgate.
Upon entering the system, the gunboat BHG|Righteous-Sword sent an offer of help. About to coordinate against Toledo.Diaz, we found he had left the system. The Bounty Hunter pursued while I continued my patrol. He later informed me that the Corsair had returned to base and the danger to Bretonia had passed.
While performing a final sweep of the trade lanes, I encountered a heavy GRN patrol at Planet Leeds. This was quickly defeated with the help of a BAF Ensign. My patrol completed, I proceeded to Newgate to drop off the captured Gallic pilots.

My first patrol went OK untill I spotted a Gaian gunship attacking New London. My splitters were no match for the armor and advanced firepower of this much bigger ship so through my efforts, I was defeated. Good news is that I caught a zoner trying to smuggle artifacts into Leed. At least one thing went alright.

Jnr. Constable Page, safe here on Cambridge after having my escape pod tractored in by a passing Cryer convoy on their way to the Research Station. I am submitting my report on today's patrol of New London, which I'm sure you have guessed did not end well for me...

TLAGSNET picked up a Dromedary - designated Eric_Tamzarian- coming in from Cambridge with long-range scans showing a cargo of Nuclear Devices. Although I was too late to catch up with it at Southampton, I was able to cut it off at Birmingham Station in Manchester by disrupting the trade lane. After being informed of the relevant laws and licencing procedure, the pilot of the vessel was very apologetic but unable to either afford the licence fee or pay the fine. As the pilot was a first time offender, and since the Devices were only intended to be transferred to Sheffield, I issued a warning and seized the cargo.
Immediately after concluding this matter, I was passed by a Mule Pirate Freighter, whose pilot, Dimmu_Borgin66 I questioned concerning his business. Although at first unresponsive, he eventually admitted to be heading to Dublin to mine Gold. A later scan upon his re-entry to New London showed a cargo of Gold.
14:50
I encountered a Molly gunboat - Jonathan's.Dream - at the Leeds jumpgate. Thankfully there were no endangered civilians in the area, so I retreated to Southampton until reinforcements arrived in the form of Chief Inspector Bailey and Inspector Constable. We were able to persuade the pilot to release the captured civilians in his cargo before sending him out the system.
15:10
Inspector Constable ran into a Gaian gunboat designated Laguna and chased her into the Cumbria Asteroid Field. I was able to catch up to help secure the release of a couple of BAF pilots - despite the Laguna's pilot attempting to use her feminine wiles on the Inspector - and again the offender was sent out of system.
Later on however, the Laguna returned and was found causing trouble in orbit of New London. Thankfully an Armed Forces patrol came at this point, but my Hussar was destroyed in the ensuing skirmish. With support from the bases there, the Laguna was damaged to the point of retreat, and as stated above I was safely brought to Cambridge.

Jnr. Constable Page here, submitted a report on today's lengthy and eventful patrol across most of Bretonia core space.
All times are SMT.
Patrol start: 13:40
As I started my patrol, I was contacted by the Liberty Carrier LAF|LNS-Ravenswood, who was en route to defend against Gallian attacks in Leeds. As the ranking (i.e. only) BPA officer on patrol at the time, I granted clearance to travel through to Leeds, where after joining up with Constable Wallace, the three of us protected the planet and several nearby civilians from several cruisers and Gunboats. One of the crew, Elizabeth Stirling, knew the Constable from her time in the BPA. LNS-Ravenswood
Deeming the system suitably protected without us, the Constable and I deposited the prisoners at Newgate, then set off to Cambridge. However, TLAGSNET picked up a freelancer - Torgo - carrying Military Vehicles towards Leeds. Constable Wallace continued to Cambridge while I requested the Ravenswood keep the Torgo in orbit until I arrived. After explaining Bretonia's Licensing Laws, the vessel docked on Leeds in an attempt to escape me. However, upon re-entering space I was able to talk to him and his business partner Necrobot. The latter attempted to bribe me, but before I could react to this, a Gallic cruiser patrol appeared. Torgo Scan
I escorted the transports to Stokes to continue the proceedings, but in my effort to protect them I left myself vulnerable. The two of them decided they would demand credits from me or face destruction, but after calling in the Ravenswood they retreated. I was able to engage and force the surrender of the Necrobot, who paid half of the Assault fine on the spot and the rest after being escorted to Omega-3. Chatlog 1 Chatlog 2 Chatlog 3 Necrobot Fine transfer
When returning to Cambridge, I re-encountered the Torgo near Lisburn Rock. The suspect attempted to flee and destroy me but surrendered after sustaining heavy damage. However, a weapons malfunction on my Hussar caused my destruction at the will of my own mines. After being towed to Cambridge, I sent a long-range message to the pilot of the Torgo detailing his crimes, punishment and consequences of both. Torgo Chatlog
After a long time in space, I finished my patrol on Planet Cambridge.

Subject:Kusari Navy
My patrol started off In the New London system but I only stayed there briefly.I decided to check on Leeds from the great amount of messages I got telling me about the tradelanes there. While at Leeds I met up with Chief Inspector Miranda Bailey. Soon after her arrival I found a lone zoner heading toward the Tau jumpgate. I scanned him and found 500 gold in his cargo. After demanding him to stop he started cruising toward the tradelane to the Tau Blockade. The Chief Inspector and I chased him but he made it into Kusari territory. Miranda took me to poole in search of better equipment and weapons that would make arrests much easier. Outside of the jumpgate to poole we found a Kusari Navy Pilot. He informed us he was just there becouse he used to be a Bretonian untill his parents decided to move to Kusari. We let him through the portal but then decided to follow him just in case. He engaged in combat with Miranda and when I arrived to support her I found that I have much more to learn. I was defeated easily and quickly but I was not completely useless. I called for backup from Online Officers and then left the system. With the help of the reinforcements, the Kusari ship was wiped out.
