' Wrote:Yeah, Death's Overture did a great job compiling that document and shots, and not forgetting to mention Friday for that awesome write-up!
Ahh sucks! What's your timezone? Many GMG|members are european, maybe we're just online at different times?
Yeah that document took me just shy of 3 mins to load up lmao, I was just about to close my window too when it popped up.
@Korny - Yeah it should be enough, the largest portion of GMG membership is in Eastern and Northern Europe. I get to log on 5 hours later to answer questions, discuss the topic of the day, and fix up any kinks that need ironing.
Okay guys, it has been identified as being useful for the Guild to get its laws and regulations formaly written down, and posted under the Laws of Sirius.
Here is our first draft:
Quote:
Laws and Regulations
Sovereign Territories of the Gas Miners Guild
1.0 SOVEREIGNITY
The GMG sovereign territory incorporates the systems of Sigma-13, Sigma-19, Sigma-59, Okinawa, as well as Aomori Station (including a 7K radius around it) in Honshu.
2.0 CONTRABAND
THe following items are considered contraband by the GMG, and smugglers are subject to interception and seizure by Guild Paramilitary forces, or their contracted agents:
Blood Dragon and GC ships shall use all available discretion when approaching or attempting to dock with GMG bases. Pilots unable to operate with due care and diligence shall be treated as rogue agents, and the full force of the standard Guild Laws shall apply.
IASDF*)&A*()&A(^F(^^(*(*^(&^(&^(^(STOP
As you can see the exceptions lists for things like contraband, or unwelcome groups, is not completed. I havent been able to go back through our records to find any. Any useful links people have would be appreciated!
GMG completely claim Sigma-13 as their sovereign, private space, including the Yanagi pocket, that both Yanagi and Helgoland stations are located in. However, the stations themselves belong to their respective faction owner.
' Wrote:By shared open borders, we would allow Rheinland Military and Rheinland Federal Police identified ships to enter Sigma-13 and traverse and patrol the southern half of the system freely without immediate approval of the Gas Miners Guild. The trade lanes leading from the Frankfurt gate and all the way to Honshu gate will also be free to use by Rheinland forces with the intention to enter or leave Kusari space. Rheinland corporate escorts (Republican, Dauman and ALG) will be allowed to enter Guild space; Sigma-13, Sigma-19 and Okinawa, to further ensure the safety of Rheinland convoys, as well as docking rights on our stations.
In return we would like the same right in northern half of the Frankfurt system. In addition, to pursue and apprehend smugglers and pirates that use the well known jump hole from Sigma-13 to New Berlin, but no further than the radius of 15-K from the center of the hole. The use of escorts will always be necessary, and as such we require our escort vessels unrestricted permission to escort our convoys through Rheinland space. I understand that the Republican owned and operated stations will allow our ships to dock, with the intention to resupply and refuel, which will be more than enough of what our escorts require. Most generous, arigato Richter-san!
